Cosy and close to everything, staff was really helpful and attentive

Absolutely nothing

We really enjoyed our stay! The location was fantastic, and the rooms were cozy and comfortable. The beds were especially comfy, and the heated blankets were a huge win. Breakfast was also great, with a lovely view to enjoy in the morning.

There were a couple of things that could be improved. It wasn’t clear when the bar and lounge/fireplace areas were meant to close. We were told by reception that it might be around 7 or 8pm, which felt quite early, and the way it was explained made it seem like the common areas would close depending on when the staff member wanted to leave rather than having a set closing time. We were also asked to light the fire ourselves, which felt a little unusual. Breakfast was great, but having 8:45am as the latest breakfast slot felt quite early, especially when you're staying somewhere to relax and have a slower morning. The rooms themselves were lovely, although the shower does cause the bathroom to flood quite badly, so that could definitely use some attention.
