Hotel Preveza

Great base for Slovensky Raj. Decent hotel near the charming old town of Nova Ves and very good service at the reception.

There was some wedding and it was very noisy till midnight.

BREAKFEST WAS VERY OK, THE POSSIBILITY OF THE USE OF LARGE INDOOR SWIMMING POOL WAS REALLY EXCELLENT.

THERE AS NO AIR CONDITION IN THE HOTEL, BUT THE DAYS OF OUR VISIT WERE EXTREMELY AND EXCEPTIONALLY HOT.

Easy to reach hotel with free parking place. Clean rooms. Friendly waiters (willing to accomodate small additional requests) and (most of) the reception staff (they moved us from booked double room to familly room with 2 separate bedrooms). Good breakfast, good - and very reasonably priced - diner. Free access to closed & open swimming pool. Highly skilled fysioterapeuts - massagists next door to the hotel.

One of the reception staff was extremlly incapable and instead of asking for help was trying to get rid of us and our (legitimate) requests a.s.a.p. For instance by telling that "massage needs to be ordered one week in advance" while after we insisted to call the massage center (phone number of which was on the flyer featured at the reception desk) it was possible to book it for the next day. Or telling us that "open-air swimming pool is closed" because noone there was answering her call. While after we insisted to be given the day-pass just as the day before (by another of her colleagues) and walked 100m to the entrance of the open-air pool, we were able to enter & swim for the next 2 hours until the (regular) closing time. Btw, just felt like mentioning this but we actually found it more amusing than anoying :)
