Our host Eva was super friendly and helpful and even gave us a lift to the airport.

Value for money in that area, friendliness of the staff
Circuit breaker and electric socket in the shower 🫣 some sort of pump going intermittently throughout the night just outside room 2. Distance from the beach but it’s the only way to get an economically priced room in Puerto Morelos, they will loan you a bike or you can take a colectivo that stops outside the guest house.

Friendly and welcoming host Eva and her friend made our stay for one night pleasant. The interior is charming, especially if you love an arty Mexican style. We appreciated the variety of biscuits, fruits, teas, and coffee on the rooftop terrace—it was a lovely touch! The late check-out was perfect for catching our flight, giving us time to relax on the beach beforehand. The location is very central and convenient, close to the airport. (Since ADO buses only stop twice a day in Puerto, we recommend taking a taxi to Cancun Airport.)
The WiFi connection was inconsistent and frequently not working. Additionally, the shower only had cold water, which was especially frustrating given how cold the nights were during this time of year. There was some noise at 8 pm in the evening due to an old pump in the upper floor and a neighbour who "entertained" the area with loud party music (at 7 in the morning).
