Dormy Inn is fantastic as always! Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, good location, great indoor & outdoor onsens (including cold plunge pool!), free ice cream and ramen at night and free yakult in the mornings.
Onsens are not tattoo friendly — maybe they are if you used tattoo stickers?

The onsen was the highlight and a nice extra for a short stay. The location was convenient, and the hotel was comfortable enough for one night.
The room was quite basic, which is fine for a short stay but not especially memorable. There were also no skincare amenities, so bring your own.

We stayed just for one night before catching to ferry over to Yakushima. The hotel is convenient and clean. Unfortunately, we were unable to enjoy the hotel onsen or breakfast buffet, as we had to wake up very early the next day.
