Vila Belvedere

We had a really great stay! The rooms were clean, the food was very good, and the pool was big and clean, and the free parking. The private beach was also great. It was very close to the hotel, just a short walk across a nice pedestrian bridge. The hotel also has a gym, although we didn’t use it during our stay. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Everything was exceptional, and we truly enjoyed our stay. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable, and enjoyable holiday!

Nice garden area and pool. Breakfast ok, nothing special. Powerful air conditioning. Close walk to the beach.

No hot water from the shower during our entire trip. Also, beware if you have a late checkout and would like to take a shower after you've already checked out, there are no shower facilities by the pool or anywhere else except for the rooms. Elevator not working.

We had the most perfect stay in Vila Belvedere. We wanted a week of relaxation and got what we came for. In the morning we had a good quality breakfast with slight daily variations (sometimes the scrambled eggs had different herbs, or pieces of meat, the cakes were different each day). After breakfast we'd find a sun bed near the pool and ordered some very good coffee (150 LEK for a cappuccino I think) to enjoy with a book and a swim. Around noon we'd enjoy lunch underneath the beautiful gazebo, had a little siësta in our room with AC on the hottest hours of the day, and then went to the beach around 5 for a dip in the ocean and to find a good restaurant for the evening. To reach the beach you need to cross a metal bridge over a street, and it isn't the cleanest area, but I don't recognize other comments about it being dangerous. Directly across for the bridge is a small supermarket, and an amazing pastry shop (La creme) where I would recommend every single cake and cookie. The hotel staff is very friendly. Ordering a taxi to and from the airport was super easy and fast. They also have a nice selection of cocktails available at the pool side bar. The room was perfect, strong AC, a tiny balcony to hang out swim suits out to dry, and a very good shower with strong water pressure. Wifi was good throughout the hotel and the smart tv lets you use your own streaming accounts.

The only small downside was the noise at night and some small inconvenience with the toilet. At night there was this whooshing noise, like it was extremely windy (it wasn't). I thought it might be the ventilation shaft of the AC, which wasn't turned on at night, but my partner thinks it might have been the mini bar fridge. Anyway, it took a few nights to get used to. Also our toilet seat lid fell of twice during our stay, both times it was shoved back on by housekeeping but not properly fixed. Nothing major to complain about.

Breakfast was very nice, pool facilities were also good

The shower was poorly designed, the floor ended up getting soaked and the bath mat ended up soaking wet to the point it was slippery on the floor. One morning we had our electric trip during the night and we notified staff, only to be told ‘do you need the electric right now, when stated that we wanted to shower and the lights don’t work (room is pitch black) we was told to open the window, but the window is in the bedroom so that didn’t help. Bath towels wasn’t changed for 3 days, nor was the room cleaned, the floors were dirty. The room had broken cupboard handles. I personally wouldn’t say it was a 4 star hotel. But majority of the staff was very accommodating
