Great scenery: the estate is really immersed in nature and the surrounding area and views are beautiful. We saw an elephant during our hike. Great food: many options for lunch and dinner and all delicious. Breakfast is also very good. Reasonably comfortable bed Spacious tent (but a bit dark or you are completely exposed if you open then curtains).

There were a few issues during our stay, which isolated would have been fine, but combined made the stay unpleasant. The more upsetting was the lack of flexibility to adapt the offered hikes to the weather (more details below): First issue was with the booking process itself, the description of the tent and tree house are swapped on Booking.com, so we ended up booking a tent instead of the tree house we wanted. Hot water in the shower stopped working suddenly for no apparent reason. Late at night there is no one at reception and we had received no instructions on how to deal with the issue from our tent upon arrival, so we could not solve the issue. An animal (we were told a squirrel, but another review mentioned a rat), managed to enter the tent through the bathroom and woke us up multiple times during the night moving objects in the bathroom. This is not supposed to happen in the "premium" tent, but if we had been told about the possibility, it could have perhaps been less startling and uncomfortable. We came during monsoon season, so the weather is predictably and consistently cloudy/foggy/rainy. Still, upon arrival we were told that we could do guided hikes if the weather was not too bad. They offered a one-hour one in the afternoon and a two-hour one at 7 am. We managed to do the afternoon one, which was cut short when it started to rain. For the morning one, we showed up at 7 but were told we could not go because the weather was not good (it was foggy, not raining). By 9, when the weather was much clearer, we asked if we could do the walk then but were told "walk is at 7, now it's finished, try tomorrow" and offered a 5-minute walk behind the reception as the alternative. We were the only guests interested in the walk, so the rigidity and lack of proper alternative was very surprising since enjoying the surrounding area is the main appeal of the place. Wifi did not work at all during our stay.
