The mountain views are splendid, and the host, Elhousseine, is the most friendly and welcoming host I've met on the whole trip. The rooms are simple and feel very authentic.
There was a shortage of hot water in the shower.

The house is a traditional Berber settlement and the rooms are very basic and old. Despite that, this was the most expensive room we had during our 10-day round-trip in Morocco. It is probably due to the fact that there is not much choice in the scarcely populated area.
The landlord is very friendly and polite and he offered us an upgrade of a quadruple room which we booked to two twin rooms for no extra cost.
He also cooked a nice dinner. The food was tasty and the portions were huge (85 dh/person).
In December, the rooms were very cold, 12 C degrees inside. A tiny electric heater did not help much. But thanks to a hot shower and large blankets we slept quite well.
