I no issues with the rooms. They were cozy and very homelike. Bathroom was a standard European bathroom with a design that was more modernized. The temperature gauge for some reason doesn’t go below 21 degrees Celsius so sometimes we would have to crack open a window. The breakfast here was standard and not over the top and was just enough. Other than that the overall stay was good, although there weren’t anything standing out.

Excellent location. Comfortable and large bed. The room was clean. Recessed lighting was nice. Friendly staff.
Outdated shower / bathtub. Breakfast wasn't too tasty, especially the savoury options.

Proximity to the lakefront and all the activities which happen there. There was no problem with noise at night.
Helpful and friendly staff (a special mention to Nicole) so we felt we weren’t just another pair of customers.
Standard of housekeeping was very good, as was management.
The property is somewhat dated (1946). There are a few stairs to be negotiated, but no problem with the building’s lift. Staff were helpful with luggage.
Our room had a high single step to each of the bathroom and the separate toilet, and these called for care in using these rooms. We soon got used to this.
Hot water takes a little time to arrive, but otherwise is very adequate.
Overall nothing to complain about.
