Comfortable, relaxing, romantic

I no issues with the rooms. They were cozy and very homelike. Bathroom was a standard European bathroom with a design that was more modernized. The temperature gauge for some reason doesn’t go below 21 degrees Celsius so sometimes we would have to crack open a window. The breakfast here was standard and not over the top and was just enough. Other than that the overall stay was good, although there weren’t anything standing out.

Decent place to stay

Excellent location. Comfortable and large bed. The room was clean. Recessed lighting was nice. Friendly staff.

Outdated shower / bathtub. Breakfast wasn't too tasty, especially the savoury options.

We had a great time at Alessi, and would stay there again.

Proximity to the lakefront and all the activities which happen there. There was no problem with noise at night. Helpful and friendly staff (a special mention to Nicole) so we felt we weren’t just another pair of customers. Standard of housekeeping was very good, as was management.

The property is somewhat dated (1946). There are a few stairs to be negotiated, but no problem with the building’s lift. Staff were helpful with luggage. Our room had a high single step to each of the bathroom and the separate toilet, and these called for care in using these rooms. We soon got used to this. Hot water takes a little time to arrive, but otherwise is very adequate. Overall nothing to complain about.

Great Location. You can access with a car to unload luggage, and then find a parking spot elsewhere. The staff was attentive, and room very nice. Also, the breakfast was awesome!

The aircondition was initially deactivated because it was just the beginning of summer, we had to call a few times for them to actually turn it on. But then it worked just fine!

A really enjoyable stay in this charming hotel where we were very well looked after by all the lovely staff.

A beautifully situated location in one of the pretty side streets off the main square, this hotel has traditional charm. All the staff are extremely warm, welcoming and professional providing an excellent level of service with a friendly touch. Nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast offers a good choice, and the hotel has a lovely trattoria as well as a pizzeria and also a restaurant all serving a delicious menu.

Lake Garda visit

The location of this hotel was perfect within walking distance to train station,, ferries, shops and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially Bruno, who answered every question we had. The hotels outdoor eating area was lovely and we had a very nice evening meal.

Unfortunately, the room we had was dated and lacked plug points as well as a bedside table/locker for the 2nd bed.

We had a great stay and would go back again.

Fantastic location, right in the heart of Desenzano. There is an elevator. Upon our arrival, we found that the air-conditioner was not working, so they gave us another room. The staff were very friendly and spoke good English. The breakfast was great with a good variety of food. Everything was clean. The price was fair. Desenzano was one of the highlights of our European vacation. We'll stay there again.

Our new room was above a restaurant, so a bit noisy, although the noise did not carry on too late. Closing the windows also helped. The lighting in the room wasnt great, but sufficient. The shower/toilet was all one room with a drain in the floor, so the water spread all over the floor and onto the toilet. It didn't drain fast enough. We had to dry the floor after showering. The sink was separate.

Very good value for money, very good location and breakfast.

Very good location, close to city center and Garda lake. Very nice and helpful staff. Very good breakfast. Room was very spaciouos, but noisy till midnight as restaurant downstairs was busy till the end and local workers were loudly working since morning - but for 1 night it was totally fine.

Amazing friendly place with everything we could ask for

Everything! Great location near the departure point for the boats and choice of restaurants and bars. Room was fantastic with a quirky round bed and spa bath. Loved having the trattoria on site and their food was delicious. Highlight for us was the friendly staff - Bruno the owner was a great host and very helpful.

Manager and staff were very welcoming and did everything to ensure our stay was perfect. Perfect location right by the old port in the centre of town. Easy walk from train station. Really good continental breakfast. Hotel has pizzeria, wine bar and pizzeria attaches. Close to sea front, beaches and amenities.
