Maison d'hôtes Bordeaux Centre Le Patio de l'Intendance

Loved the independent living and the two bedrooms available. One for each of us was a bonus. The outdoor patio was lovely.

Check in. The number of doors that required a key or code for each. We were not met at the property until the second day that we checked in. We had a difficult time managing the doors and tried to contact the owner by the phone number listed on Booking .com and he was on holidays. The number for a contact should have been the property manager. Thankfully we got into the unit.

Excellent location! Spacious apartment. Comfortable king size beds. Lots of plush towels. Pierre is a wonderful, responsive, patient and attentive host!

We had some construction noise from next door for a couple of days. Hopefully the project will be completed soon.

Location was fab and Bordeaux is a great place for a weekend. Lemon drizzle cake was lovely - but odd for breakfast

The place was a bit too quirky and not relaxing. Several doors and codes to enter, strange shared space set up and nothing quite right. Severine, possibly the owner, paid us a visit and, even allowing for cultural differences, was the rudest person I’ve come across in a while. She was demanding money - just a couple of Euros for tourist tax, at the top of her voice in French, as if we’d just mugged her. It was January so chilly outside but we struggled to make the place cosy. The shower floods the bathroom after a couple of minutes use. I don’t recommend this place
