Overall, we had a great time and the place was amazing!!

The property overlooks a beautiful city, scenery was breathtaking.

Although we were aware breakfast wasn’t included in the cost of our accommodations, the property is classified as a “B&B” we felt breakfast should have been included.

What a tremendously pleasant stay at this little gem in the hills surrounded by olive & fruit trees.

Luciano & Iryna were gracious hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Piana. Our room was comfortable, spacious and beautifully appointed. The daily breakfast was delicious and the variety that was offered was amazing. The food was beautifully prepared & presented. We particularly enjoyed the smoothies which varied daily. The breakfast was served on the verandah that can be enclosed for weather variations - the views were stunning! We also enjoyed our aperitivos in the evenings under the olive tree enjoying the sunset & the stunning views. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Our biggest regret was not booking a longer stay!

Tuscan experience

This was a wonderful experience - living in a restored Tuscan villa in a beautiful piece of countryside, with all amenities we needed and a very nice and helpful host/staff. Thoroughly recommend this place.

The rustic ambiance of the property was exceptional. The apartment was beautifully appointed. The restaurants close by were really good. The pasta night at La Piana is not to be missed.

You wont regret staying at La Piana

Hotel La Piana itself is absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful Italian stone house. The surrounding area is breathtaking. Just getting up in the morning to see the sun bathing the hills and valleys with morning light is amazing. The bistro and bar is so charming and the staff is lovely and very accomodating and the dinners the owner makes twice a week is well worth it. The pool area is great as well! The room are beautiful and the AC is a godsend.

Dreamy and sublime

Such a beautiful bed and breakfast. Luciano and Iryna have thought of everything. The decor and furnishings are gorgeous (feels like a home), comfortable beds, little touches……pool towels in a bag, hair wrap, fleecy blankets, coffee machine, kettle, phone charging station, the list is endless 💜. Views from the pool and terrace, stunning. The a la carte breakfast so delicious. The staff charming and so helpful. Thank you Luciano and Iryna and La Piana for an amazing holiday 💜💜

Beautiful accommodation and location

We really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation is very nice and comfortable. It is located in a beautiful garden. It includes a swimming pool and a jacuzzi. We liked that the location is suitable for traveling not only by car, but also by train. The station is about a 30-minute walk from the accommodation - a nice walk. The accommodation, as well as the surroundings, provide many opportunities for relaxation and discovery. The breakfast was excellent, we liked that it could be ordered online the day before. The choice of food was very wide, and food intolerances were also taken into account. Dinner is also offered twice a week. The staff and owners were really very friendly. Parking is in a closed area. A truly great place.

We wish we would have stayed longed

The hotel is located on a hill with a beautiful view and many places to enjoy it. There is a jacuzzi, so even if the weather is still colder and you don't want to swim in the pool, you can enjoy the views from the pool. The hosts are lovely, we felt very welcome. Our friends organised a surprise bottle in our room with the help of hosts. During our stay the hotel's restaurant was open on 2 nights a week so unfortunately we could not enjoy the dinner, but we did manage to have a nice pasta night, as snacks and pasta dinner is available every evening. There is a wide selection of different fresh and cooked meals for breakfast. You need to order the breakfast the evening before for a time slot so it is really considering all your wishes and it comes fresh out of the kitchen.

One of the best experience - a HOME away from home.

It was an amazing experience and we will be back. The owners took a great care of us and all other guests, personal touch and attention to details throughout the stay. One can feel the warmth and hospitality from Irina and Luciano and each of the staff in the hotel. I would highly recommend this place for those seeking the getaway in Toscany surrounded by nature, up in the mountains with splendid view.

Driving into the property is awkward, especially if you have a manual car. There is a big incline at the entrance.

A wonderful stay at a fairy-tale-like hotel.

An amazing hotel in the heart of a wonderful location. The photos don't fully capture how beautiful it is there, especially in the evening. The rooms are very spacious and beautifully furnished—everything was cohesive and matched perfectly. A huge plus is the pool and jacuzzi available for guests. Surrounding the hotel are lemon orchards where you can take a lovely walk. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to visit the charming restaurant with the stunning view, and we regret it because other guests highly praised its specialties :) Another big plus is the parking behind the gate. The hotel staff was extremely friendly. I felt blissful there :) We will never forget this place and will definitely return for a longer stay :) P.S. We had the chance to see thousands of fireflies flying around the orchards at night :D :D :D

Tranquil scenery, rustic vibes and delicious puff pastry for breakfast

This property is fantastic! Wonderfully scenic in a remote, private location, surrounded by olive trees. Access to the property is gated, and there are a few available parking spots on site, including a charging station for E-vehicles. The furnishings are beautiful, the bed was quite comfortable, the bathroom spacious enough and offering a bidet as well, everything very clean. Sufficient storage space for clothing. Save for one breakfast, which was very delicious, I had not gotten the chance to enjoy the kitchen at La Piana. But if the rest of my stay is anything to go off of, it must be very good. The staff is very welcoming and ready to help. Breakfast was served on the terrace. Everything ordered the evening before was ready to be enjoyed as soon as you sat down. I recommend the puff pastry (especially the sfogliatella). The homemade lemon jam is a delight for anyone who enjoys a sour and savory kick. The double espresso was good, but nothing to write home about. The weather in April was fantastic, although not warm enough for the pool. The garden in front of the property is beautiful. There were fruit bearing lemon and orange trees, and the wisteria were in bloom, providing for a serene atmosphere, which one could enjoy on the comfortable chairs, benches, or loungers available. I recommend going to the nearby Buggiano Castello, which is a short 10-minute walk uphill. It is a beautiful little town on the hill, and the view is especially gorgeous around sunset.

Minor complaint coming from a very light sleeper, the plumbing can be a bit loud. Once everyone had showered for the night, though, the noises quiet down after a short while.

The place had so much charm yet it was very modern with lots of interesting conveniences. We loved the terrace and its privacy as well as the views of the open, green spaces. The pool and the breakfast option were nice extras.

Beautiful accommodation set in a stunning location with picturesque views. The room was comfortable, spacious and clean with beautiful views. Very good facilities and amazing pool, again with amazing views. Service was beyond our expectation, Luciano is a great host and exceeded good service and even went the extra mile and offered us a lift to the train station when it was time to leave. Prices of optional extras, such as food, cocktails and mini bar were all well priced. Loved every part of this stay/

The best time on our trip to Europe was right here.

I wish I could rate this higher than the highest ratings, This B&B is heaven on earth! The hosts are wonderful, the views are spectacular, and our last meal on Friday was Cena Toscana, "A taste of Tuscany" - a magnificent 6-course meal that was the best we had in Italy! We loved the people, the atmosphere, the food, the blend of roses, and other wonderful scents of flowers, fruits and other flora, walking around the olive trees and into the small village on the top of the hill. The castle was built in the 1200s, 1000 stars for the charm and hospitality. There are only 8 rooms in the B&B so everyone gets 1st class treatment. We are already anticipating our next trip back.

There was nothing not to like, but if you are looking for a "touristy place" with lots of people and noise and city smells, this may not be the best place for you.
