Resort with wonderful view

The view from the room was excellent. Also the room had a jacuzzi. A very good way to relax after a day's hike. In the apartment you will find everything. We had a really nice stay with the kids.

Beds were a bit too soft to our liking. Apart from that everything was perfect.

Large suite with well stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds. Lovely view and balcony. Very nice owner who was helpful. Parking was convenient.

Great Place.

If you're searching for the perfect spot to unwind after a day of long-distance hiking and exploring the surrounding area, this is the ideal place for you. Start your adventure by preparing a to-go lunch in the kitchen before setting out. After your hike, return to relax in your private bathtub with soothing water jets. Enjoy the serene view from the balcony overlooking a peaceful fish pond, and end your day with a restful night’s sleep on the large, soft bed designed for your comfort. The host was really friendly and explained everything, willing to help with our requests.

If you're someone who gets easily bothered by small details—like a hand soap dispenser not working, poor bathroom ventilation that leaves the space feeling like a rainforest with damp toilet paper after a steam bath, or heating that still feels insufficient at night even with the electric fireplace and radiators on—or if you prefer not to cook your own meals, then this destination may not be the right fit for you. Instead, it might be better to choose a different type of location rather than an UNESCO heritage volcanic forest area. That said, while I haven't explored other resorts nearby, I truly believe this is the best option available in the region.

Great aparthotel above the village, overlooking one of the Eifel volcanic lakes. Well equipped - clean, thought through and modern. Friendly and welcoming owners. Sauna with jacuzzi is a great addition.

We hebben genoten van de prachtige omgeving en het mooie uitzicht vanuit het appartement.

Het weer was wat minder maar daar kan niemand wat aan doen, dat kun je in de herfst verwachten.

Prettig verblijf in ruim appartement met uitzicht op het dorp en Maar.

Ruim appartement, voorzien van alle gemakken. Vriendelijke host met veel kennis van de omgeving. Attent om alle folders in het Nederlands voor ons klaar te leggen.

Overal zijn led lampjes in verwerkt, geen last van maar je moet ervan houden.

Kann klar empfohlen werden

Sehr schön gelegen oberhalb des Schalkenmehrer Maars mit Maar-Blick (1. oder 2. Etage buchen). Einrichtung etwas im den 90er Jahre-Stil, tut dem guten Eindruck aber keinen Abbruch. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Ideal zum Wandern und Schwimmen.

De huisbaas was vriendelijk, prettig en makkelijk. De studio was heel rustig en had een mooi uitzicht.

Prachtig 😍

Prachtig uitzicht over het meer, auto luwe straat en het complex is super mooi. Heerlijke bedden en knus keukentje. Vriendelijke eigenaar en personeel heeft ons nuttige tips gegeven omtrent regio. Voor de wandelaar is dit echt een mooi startpunt en je kan zonder auto zoveel gevarieerde wandelingen maken. Bosrijk gebied met mooie vulkaan meren en glooiende heuvels - bergen.
