We only had 3 nights but every minute was awesome!

Location was excellent! Huts were cute and cosy and all you needed. Outdoor bathroom was pretty cool. Pools were lovely. Restaurant was excellent and staff were excellent and really friendly too! Would definitely stay here again. Loved everything about it.

Great view !

The location looking over to mount Batu was simple jaw dropping, the huts were comfortable the bathroom was very dated, outside side shower..Amazing value for money ! I had a spa treatment everyday as it was seriously good and good value for money …

The food was not good, glancing at the kitchen made me stomach turn, it just needed a good deep clean… Also happy Christmas decoration up in late February was just comical …

We had a great stay at Bay Shore Huts. The location is very convenient and well situated, making it easy to get around and enjoy the area. The accommodation was clean and well maintained throughout our stay. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful, and whenever we had questions or needed assistance, they were happy to help us. Another big plus is that they offer a wide range of activities, which makes it easy to plan your days and try new things. Overall, a pleasant stay and a good choice if you’re looking for a well-located place with helpful staff and plenty of activities.

We loved our stay at Bay Shore Huts and didn’t want to leave

We stayed in the Ocean View huts that had a stunning outlook to the pool and the ocean. Comfortable room and lovely open-air private bathroom. The staff were extremely friendly and so accommodating - we organised transport and activities (an island tour and a divine massage) though them at good prices. Delicious omelette and danish pastry at breakfast. Many restaurants close by to choose from too. Easy walk to Hidden Beach and not far from Mushroom Bay. We really enjoyed our stay at Bay Shore Huts.

We would suggeat not leaving your shoes outside at night. Local dogs go exploring at night and like to find things they can chew on.

Ok for the price

The two pools were nice. The huts were very cute. For the price it was great- and we had a fantastic time whilst we were on the island. Short walk to Tamarind beach.

However of the 3 rooms we had none of the safes worked-and the doors did not lock very well-but had no problems. The place is quite run down with a lot of broken items or things that did not work. Breakfast staff were not very friendly. Location was on a beach, but not really a beach you could swim at.Location a little bit far away from everything else so had to book someone to pick us up to go everywhere ( $15 AUD each ride- very expensive compared to else where in Bali). We also got quite sick whilst we were here- possibly water in pool and showers not quite clean.

BED BUGS BEWARE!! Such a shame, as was a cute little peaceful place.

Cute and quaint little huts- the ocean front ones have a beautiful view over the ocean and the pool - but this doesn’t make up for the bed bugs situation.

BED BUGS!!!! -and sadly the issue wasn’t really taken seriously. They moved me to another room without taking the infected room out of service afterwards to actually eradicate the bugs, ready to just check the next guest in. I was barely apologised to, and not given any assistance to launder infected suitcase and clothing to stop the spread of the infestation. And I was I initially put in the wrong room type to what I had booked when checking in, as they didn’t have any ocean views available, so there was no option to stay in what I had paid for- other than to move rooms the following day. Very disappointing, particularly their attitude towards the bed bug situation - treating it like it was perfectly normal for a place to have bed bugs?!

Much better places on Lembongan, look elsewhere.

The hut itself was nice, bed comfy, breakfast decent. Staff were lovely.

Quite a few things. Really vague check-in process. The resort is quite isolated, wifi cut out constantly. Shower stream/pressure was harsh and chaotic. Had people cutting down trees with a chainsaw right beside my hut starting as early as at 7:15am which was EXTREMELY loud and disturbing. Had to leave the resort altogether because I couldn’t cope even with headphones and earplugs. Multiple workers/men sitting on and in front of my porch during this. Had the absolute fright and disgust of a big rat running back and forth the roof beams in my hut. Food and drink were crap. Especially for the price, expensive for Bali! Breakfast was good except the fruit and juice always smelt old and didn’t taste fresh. Had the worst massage I’ve ever had in my life at the spa and she also finished 50 minutes into my 1 hour massage. Had no flow or routine, was jumping to and from different body parts like she’s never given a massage before. Left me drenched in oil. No relaxing music, just silence and the creaking old massage bed. She even answered a phone call mid massage and it closes very early. There’s heaps of nicer accommodation options on Lembongan - look elsewhere 🙂

Our favourite stay in Asia so far !

Our favourite stay in asia so far! Amazing location, a short walk to mushroom beach and all shops and restaurants you could want and need! Amazing staff that were so helpful always offering help and quickly and efficiently going above and beyond with everything! They also have lots of tours - we did the manta ray snorkeling one of the best things we have ever done after many many countries visited, the hotel organised drop off and and pick up very smooth! They have bikes to rent for very cheap too which made exploring the island so much fun! Also the laundry service came back very very well done! The rooms are lovely with very comfy beds and great outdoor bathroom!

A pleasant (and hot) week

The garden is gorgeous and the pools are nice - although the water tastes and smells very weird. Being in Nusa Lembongan we did not expect anything luxurious so the rooms were comfortable enough and showering in the moonlight was nice. I also had a couple of massages at the Spa and they were lovely experiences.

1) The aircon in the rooms just can't handle the afternoon heat and we noticed that within 10 minutes of checking in and asked to be moved, with not much improvement. Yes, it does work during the night (like we were told by the reception) but I mainly needed it working in the middle of the day when my 16 month-old son took his naps. The rooms aren't proper air tight, it could be one reason. 2) The restaurant is very average. We had to eat there a lot because of our baby and most meals were overcooked or blend. Breakfast was ok, mostly eggs with white bread and concentrated juice. My thought is that having less things in the menu and doing them well is a better approach. 3) The baby chair was awfully grubby. 4) Like many reviews mention, the Wi-fi wasn't reliable - which wasn't an issue for us but I'm mentioning in case you NEED it during your stay.

Such a great value for money accommodation and location on the island. Breakfast was fantastic too.

We had 2 single beds pushed together which is not ideal for a couple. They weren't very comfortable just adequate I suppose.

The best outside bathroom you can wish for

Very friendly owner || amazing views || great pool || outdoor bathrooms || comfortable beds || quiet area || you can get a motorbike directly from them || they cleaned the room very well || sunbeds || get the motorbike to go to the nicest beaches

You cannot swim in the beach in front of the hotel || not reliable Internet || employees in the restaurant looked like they were always annoyed and bored, constantly on their phones and you had to sometimes multiple times say hello to get their attention || breakfast and generally restaurant was not so good

Would not recommend this place unless you can live without air conditioning

Choice of two swimming pools was nice

Air conditioning did not work. Despite manager telling me “it’s you, you aren’t used to the hot weather and it will work at night when things cool down” Seriously this guy was gaslighting the guests, as another guest complained about the air con & was told same thing. Air conditioning vents could not be adjusted either and was on a fixed temperature. It was stiflingly hot and provided no relief, particularly during the day when I wanted to be cooled down.

Nyoman was beyond helpful with every request or question I asked. He is very attentive and always ready with a smile and a fist bump.

A little piece of paradise

Loved the location - having an ocean view from our veranda, fab infinity pool, well maintained, helpful and friendly staff. Great snorkelling trip organised by them, restaurant on site good value and plenty of others within a short taxi/scooter ride.

Only downside was you needed car/scooter to get around rather than being able to walk to places but the views made up for that and the transport was cheap

Great property, located on right on the shore, we could hear the sea at night. Lovely pool, facing the sea. We used their restaurant every day, it was very good. Staff super friendly, organised island tour for us and tickets for the speed ferry to our next destination.

Beautiful view and friendly staff

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay at Bay Shore Huts. We had secured Hut 2 which is in row 1 and which has the best view of the bay. (Huts 1 & 3 also have good views but don’t be tempted by Hut 4 which looks onto the side of the restaurant). There were two pools both with comfy sun loungers and pool towels were provided. There was a good choice at breakfast and all food was freshly cooked and for those booked onto trips or with an early ferry trip back to Bali there was breakfast ‘to go’. Initially, we were disappointed with aspects of our hut’s interior as there was extremely limited hanging and storage spaces for clothes, there were no bedside tables, no hairdryer and the bathroom was tired and definitely in need of an upgrade. For example, there was only cold water in the sink. On the plus side, there was a kettle with tea and coffee, 2 bottles of water were supplied daily and towels were changed each day. Despite the interior of the hut, we would definitely return to Bay Shore Huts as the beautiful view and friendly staff make it a go-to location.

The bathroom is in need of an upgrade. No hairdryer.

Amazing room , not a great breakfast!

The property was immaculate, the gardens and room very nicely done, love the outside bathroom.

There was no toiletries, just soap dispensers on the wall. I didn’t like the set breakfast, it would be good to just select what combination you want. Service was slow.

Warning: very noisy with a lot of surrounding construction and loud ceremonies that start at 6am!

friendly staff, nice location

We booked 3 rooms here for 2 nights and were allocated room 12, 16 and 17. Room 16 and 17 back on to the parking area, so there is the constant sound of bikes coming in and out all day and there is also building happening directly next door, starting at 6am! We were also woken before 6am by staff sweeping around the pool area and yelling to each other across the gardens. Then again shortly after by bells ringing for a ceremony. All of us woke up wondering what was going on!! The rooms are super thin walls, made from light wood, so you can hear everything which really disturbed our trip given the loud staff and construction in the early morning. If the construction was only between 9am - 5pm and the staff were quiet before 7am, our trip would have been much nicer. The showers in room 16 and 17 were also clogged up with calcification, toilet flush was broken and bidet was not working properly. A little renovation and cleaning of the bathrooms is required and a discount should be offered for the rooms near the construction site. We paid the same amount as guests down near the beach, which does not seem fair at all. Other than renovation suggestions and offering a more peaceful environment, the place would be nice.
