Agriturismo Il Torrione

Abbiamo trascorso una notte presso l’Agriturismo Il Torrione, immerso in un parco stupendo e pieno di ortensie in fiore. Un vero angolo di paradiso verde!Il personale è stato estremamente cortese e disponibile, sempre pronto a soddisfare ogni richiesta con un sorriso. Ci hanno persino organizzato un piacevole tour del parco con il caddy, un’esperienza davvero carina e rilassante.La piscina è bellissima, curata e immersa nel verde, perfetta per rinfrescarsi nelle giornate più calde. Il luogo è molto tranquillo, ideale per chi cerca relax e contatto con la natura.Consigliamo vivamente l’Agriturismo Il Torrione a chi vuole staccare dalla routine e rigenerarsi in un ambiente incantevole. Torneremo sicuramente!

Tutto perfetto

Situated between cornfields and kiwi farms, with breathtaking views of Alpine peaks , Agriturismo was a wonderful base to explore the Piedmont region. We were welcomed by very attentive hosts, our appartement was clean and spatious, with a covered parking space in the inner courtyard, which we appreciated a lot, considering the high temperatures during our stay. The appartement was cleaned on a daily basis, and we always had fresh towels and bedsheets. What is truly magical about this place is the outside area, the meticulously curated gardens with a large variety of decorative plants, the architecture, the swimming pool. The last one was our highlight, it was a perfect way to refresh during the day, and we had it basicaly for ourselves every time we used it. We would definetly recommend checking out the nearby city of Pinerolo, especially the market on the Piazza Vittorio Veneto which takes place every Wednesday and Saturday. Our host Antonella and the girl who welcomed us and was always there (sadly we didn't remember her name), as well as the gardener, are doing a great job of maintaining this Agriturismo, they are all very hardworking and easygoing at the same time.

The lack of air conditioning. The appartement was at times very unwelcoming, since the temperatures outside reached 35-38°C on some days. It was basically impossible to get a good sleep or some rest during the day. The breakfast is tipically italian-minimalistic, but still made with love. We found that for us a better option would be to make our own breakfest, and this way we could enjoy all the delicious regional fruits and vegetables that we found at the market.

Mooie, heerlijk rustige locatie en een heel ruime en schone kamer/suite. Bij de accomodatie hoort ook een groot (historisch) park met een meertje en heel veel verschillende hortensias. 's Morgens wakker worden met het gefluit van vele verschillende vogels. Daarna met de hond een heerlijke wandeling door het park maken om vervolgens aan te schuiven voor een lekker ontbijtje. We hebben genoten van ons verblijf op Il Torrione.

In de recensies las ik dat veel mensen vonden dat de tuin (die heel groot en eigenlijk een park is) onderkomen is. Het is inderdaad geen perfect onderhouden tuin, maar daar zouden ze ook wel heel veel personeel voor nodig hebben. Wij vonden het park 'perfectly imperfect' en hebben er heel wat heerlijke wandelingen gemaakt en er van genoten.

Rain leaking in through the ceiling around water heater flew. A kettle that had no socket to plug it in to.
