Destiny - The Farm Resort

Breathtaking location and landscapes, with thoughtfully curated farming activities that could be made a little more traditional. Excellent staff and service, and good food, especially the Asian cuisine. We stayed in both Luxury and Standard rooms; the Luxury room was the better of the two, though it could use some upgrades. The off-road drive to the property is part of the adventure, especially if you have a 4x4! Highly recommended for families with children.

The breakfast buffet needs a complete overhaul in taste and quality, falling short of expected 3-star standards. The Standard rooms urgently need renovation, with cobwebs, dirty and worn-out mats, an inadequately sanitised toilet, old mattresses and pillows, and visible dampness on the bedroom walls. The lack of a fan and proper ventilation made the room suffocating, resulting in a sleepless night. There was no heater either. Most concerning was the condition of the horses, which appeared old and weak and seemed reluctant to move when ridden. Their welfare deserves serious attention, and older animals should be retired from riding activities. The spa is quite a long walk from the accommodation, making access inconvenient. Unfortunately, the leg massage also offered little lasting relief, with my legs feeling much the same by the time I returned to the room. Given the property’s age, management should prioritise hygiene, animal welfare, spa accessibility and, most importantly, a comprehensive renovation of the Standard rooms.

Excellent location, with greenery alround. Good place for kids and families. Good food. Bird watchers have a good time here.

Staff - Not clearly stating what to expect in the forest walks - many in the group came unprepared. Skills inadequate for making camp fires. Coffee making particularly bad.

The scenic view and the climate

The extreme offroading which is very hard to reach the property in their military trucks . It will be much easy if we ride on a jeep or some other vehicle
