I like how spacious and clean the place is! Very good location, near Newmarket area.

Had trouble explaining with cleaners as they don’t speak English. I was about to take shower and I asked the cleaner lady to come later she kept repeating “cleaning” like she’s programmed 😭 and she ended up not cleaning at all.

A great first impression that was carried through to the rooms.

It was clean, up to date, the motel people weren’t nosey and annoying, they done their job and then left us to enjoy our stay. The location was super awesome - there were restaurants near by and a great selection. We especially enjoyed the sake bar and the atmosphere was interactive and a great experience. The cornwell park is just across the road that gave a nice excuse to go for a stroll and it was especially beautiful to wake up to the tūī singing in the mornings. Only 100m and there are some Thai massage providers which could add to a lovely stay. Excellent motor inn - I will definitely stay again.

There’s a row of little lights by the tv that I did not like and hung a blanket over the tv to block during the night. Minute but they could provide a better quality toilet paper instead of such a small ply - little stuff really but can make that point of difference. And car parking is free but tight.

Great spot for a short stay in Auckland

We had a one bedroom suite on the upper level. It was quite spacious and had a mini kitchen where you could fix up a snack. It was very clean and comfortable. The bedroom window offered a lovely view of part of Cornwall Park. Communication to Newmarket and the city centre was relatively easy considering the Auckland traffic.

Comfortable little home away from home.

Location was good, bus stop out front so you could get around and into the city quite easy. Taxis were also easy to book. The property itself has good bones but needs a little revamp, everything you need in the kitchen and bathroom, plenty of storage in the bedroom and living spaces, if you’re staying a week or so you’ll be comfy! We stayed a week and found ourselves at home, beds were very soft and comfortable. The TVs don’t get many tv stations, we had a few rainy days with a baby so background noise is a must. Staff were very accomodating and cleaning staff were also and they tidied our room daily with fresh towels etc, laundry services available which was handy with a baby.

We found stray hairs in our clean face towels, thankfully we noticed before using. And they were tidied with cleaning services.

Warm hosts, practical stay, great value, and a location that makes life easier

I’ve stayed here multiple times and continue to return because of the consistent quality and value. The room is spacious and the large bed is a definite plus, although I personally find the mattress a bit too firm and straight for my taste. That said, the comfort and convenience more than make up for it. The hosts are always incredibly accommodating, and the cleaners are just as friendly and helpful—something I really appreciate. The location is ideal for me: close to the city hospital, with a peaceful park right across the road that offers a lovely spot to relax. There’s also a garage nearby and fast food options within walking distance, which adds to the overall convenience. For the price and location, I couldn’t ask for better. Highly recommended for anyone needing easy access to the hospital or just looking for a comfortable, well-located stay.

While the mattress is a bit firmer than I personally prefer, it’s only a minor detail in an otherwise excellent stay.

Met and exceeded my expectations. A very lovely place to stay, we booked a second night.

Staff very welcoming, helpful, happy to see you, checked in around 7pm on a weekday. Breakfast was very good simple food done well, delivered to your door and real butter not packets. Plunger coffee in the room was better than expected. Two very happy chef's! Clean. Nice towels. Nice bedding. Shower was a good size, nice body wash provided. Quieter than expected being the top end room near the main road but the beautiful fountain as our view was a very romantic back drop. Good blackout curtains, blinds, heat pump, heater in the bathroom, TV, Wi-Fi, table to eat at, it was perfect.

Only one side of the bed had a table.

Thoughtfully designed room. Slide out shelf for second piece of luggage worked really well. Lovely staff. Great location close to Cornwall Park. Easy access to a variety of local restaurants. Lovely sunny upstairs room. Enough power points for all our devices. Parking available. Walkable to cafes in Mt Eden. Easy access to airport and city. Not perfect (minor shower leak), but it worked really well for us.
