"The front cottage is well located to Richmond. and even to a couple of the better wineries nearby. Perhaps a little quirky for some but spacious, and cosy. Loved it."

Cosy and Quaint. Enjoyed the living and dining area.
The bath too high to climb in and out of when you are 70 and over.

Close to town, lovely and quiet. Beds are warm and comfortable and owner was so lovely to us.

Unfortunately the owner had double booked my cottage so I was offered an alternative option late the evening before my arrival. I was very disappointed and didn’t like the alternative at all. It was modern and didn’t have the features of the original booking, such as a bath and open fire. It was modern, dark and not particularly clean.
My original booking had a bath, an open fire and charming heritage features. Unfortunately my replacement was a dark 80’s cave that lacked any charm or comfort. It was such a low point of my holiday.
