    Great location with options of quiet solitude and social meetups. Easy walk to town but the food onsite is also delicious. Sam and his team go above and beyond to make the stay extra special. Walk the beach at low tide and sit on a sandbar watching the boats go by. Definitely a great place to stay and be in awe of the beauty of Ko Muk.

    This resort has a fantastic location and that is about it. Like many others I read the reviews and saw the photos and thought people were probably just being a little bit fussy. However, the resort has deteriorated very significantly from the photos. Our room was actually a good size and had a good view although was also showing rapid signs of aging. It is clear after a few days visiting that there is not sufficient maintenance or cleaning throughout the site and there are also not nearly enough staff for a site of its size. Throughout our trip in Thailand, there were always lots of people working hard and busy wherever we went, which felt very different to at Pawapi. This resort has a massive site with lots of nature and there is just a mess and dirt absolutely everywhere, the staff are clearly overwhelmed and don’t even know where to start with addressing it or don’t even try. It really massively impacts the experience of staying there as every step you take around the resort you are dodging something, whether it is rubbish, flies, mosquitoes, or stray dogs. Some people will say this is just part of visiting Koh muk and people need to be tolerant. However, we fundamentally disagree with that as we loved the island and there were a multitude of other places we visited throughout our few days on the island (restaurants, other resorts) that took simple steps to keep these things at bay (including places that were a fraction of the price) This resort unfortunately is just extremely overpriced for what it is. We also heard people complaining about bedbugs. We would absolutely recommend a visit to Koh muk, but you would be much better off staying in one of the other accommodations even if it is significantly more basic in the photos. It really pains me to do this and I have never written a review like this for somewhere so please, for the owners, be better custodians of an absolutely wonderful site that you have in a truly beautiful place. If you keep this up in another year, the resort is going be totally trashed.

    Unfortunately, we did not enjoy this stay and were happy to leave after 3 days. We stayed at the chill sea view bungalow which was quite outdated. Since the toilette is only seperated with a curtain and no door, I would not recommend it for couples or people that love privacy. We also had to ask to get out room done, as, despite having the "make my room sign out", the room was never made. The biggest let down was the breakfast - poor choices, poorly washed utensils. we were honestly shocked what we were presented considering the price /*** Euro per night. Old cornflakes and cocopops (you need to mix it in a coffee cup as on 2 out of 3 days no bowls were provided), toast, yoghurt, 2 types of fruit and every day Spaghetti, chickensausage, bacon and you can order eggs. Yes, thats the breakfast you get over Christmas. On the positive - the people working at the reception are extremley friendly.
