Exceptional hotel, ideal for families and skiing!

For us, this hotel was the perfect place for a successful vacation! The rooms are spacious and very clean, equipped with absolutely everything you need – the suite we stayed in even had a dishwasher, and we truly felt at home. The staff is exceptionally kind and always attentive, and the location is excellent for a ski vacation, with easy access to the slopes. The bus stop that takes you directly to the slopes is right next to the hotel, and the ski equipment rental center, Intersport, is also very close. The dinners were absolutely delicious, varied, and carefully prepared, with dishes to suit everyone’s taste, including the children. The atmosphere in the restaurant and throughout the hotel is warm and welcoming, perfect for relaxing after an active day. After skiing, the pool was a real treat for both children and adults – clean, well-maintained, and very relaxing. We truly felt welcome and enjoyed every moment of our stay. We highly recommend this hotel to all families looking for a successful ski vacation in a beautiful and relaxing setting. We will definitely be returning!

Cozy and great location for walking to the waterfalls

The property is extremely clean. The rooms feature an authentically Australian Alpine design that is cute, warm and cozy. The three-course dinner was tasty and breakfast extensive. The staff was really friendly.

A piece of heaven in the mountains

This hotel has a charm of the early XXth century which reminded me the novels of Agatha Christie. It's located not so far from ski station but still in a very peaceful remote location. It's a very good place to either enjoy some isolation from the rest of the world in the mountains or to go explore the mountains for skiing or hiking. The rooms are confortable and clean, the staff is very lovely and the diner was very good while costing not so much when booking it. The breakfast is fabulous, (especially their amazing croissants!) and you have a large choice of food. My room featured a desk with a view on the mountains which was amazing when doing some work.

My room (323, single bed) had a velux (roof) window which made quite a lot of noise during the night as the weather was very windy that night. For me it was okay, I like the sound of wind, but mind it if you are getting a room on the last floor.

Serene getaway in Austrian Alps

Everything about this place was superb. The host & staff were exceptionally kind and very accommodating of our baby's needs. There was a baby cot set up as requested, the room had a great view, the food spread was excellent. There was honestly nothing to complain about, we had a great time there.

Very good

Good location at walking distance from the falls. Also in front of the hotel you can attend the light water show at the local fountain (see timetable for the shows). Our staying included also a very nice simple dinner.

Lokation and swimmingpool.

We was send around in the restaurant. The room was verry spa some furnitured. No lift to the rooms. Not good enougf for a 4* hotel. Is it rearly a 4* hotel?

Atmosphere, amazing hotel staff, from beginning to end, lovely reception, lovely bar, amazing restaurant staff, we felt very welcome, huge selection of Bfast food.

Needs a little work but still a good experience.

Breakfast and dinner were included was fun for one night. I liked the large room with separate toilet room. lots of windows. Local staff could speak English, Croatian, Romanian, German. Walking distance from the water falls. Free entry to the waterfall park with your hotel registration document in hand. Close to a Spar grocery store and a nice coffee/bar. There is a movie theater 10 min drive away. The welcome book in the room was in German and English and included local tourist information.

Could not see the falls, the pool was not heated, there was no spa music in the relaxation room of the spa area. We had to wait 16 minutes at check-in time because no one was there to see us. The questionnaire asking us about how was our stay was only in German. The dinner menu was only in German. The restaurant was full of Cow flies. There was no screen on at least one window in our room so the room was also full of cow flies.

Pleasant stay in very comfortable room and decent food. However, there is room for improvement.

We were very well received on arrival by the hostess (Martina) at reception, and she made our stay very pleasant. She made arrangements for baby beds and provided a lot of tips for the area. The staff was mostly very friendly and very helpful (we had some request since we travelled with infants). The breakfast was good and enough variety. Also the dinner was acceptable.

The flies was a bit of a distraction during meal times. I understand that is a general issue in the area (farming), but I think more could be done to control the fly presence, especially during meal times. The bread rolls (semmel) was not al ways fresh, maybe 1 day old, but this is a personal preference.

Nice hjotel, also when skiing at Gerlos

It is a nice family run hotel. I was there before Corona, and I enjoyed it so I came back. This hotel has real single rooms, which I got, last year I had a double room, while booking single too. The room was nice, but the bed is too small, a small single bed and the placement was bad, next to the stairs and evening entry so early morning and late night people outside coming out of bars etc. loud and also on the stairs, which did a bit trouble me this time. Breakfast is excellent and they have a pool, inside outside, hammam and Sauna.

Grote kamers, zeer vriendelijk personeel, geweldig uitgebreid ontbijt buffet! Ook heerlijk: sauna, zwembad en stoombad!

Het dorp zelf heeft niet echt après-ski, daarvoor moet je in Koningsleiten of Gerlos zijn. Die zijn wel prima met de skibus te bereiken.

Der Preis für das zweite Zimmer, die Junior Suite, war für 4 Personen zu hoch. Es gab keine zwei Schlafzimmer und das Zimmer war sehr klein, im Vergleich zu unserem Zimmer, welches pro Person gleich viel gekostet hat.

Falsches Zimmer bekommen

Das Personal ist freundlich. Das Essen war gut und ausreichend. Der Wellnessbereich ist sehr schön und das Wasser war sehr angenehm warm.

Wir haben ein Zimmer mit zwei Kingsize Betten gebucht. Leider haben wir ein Zimmer mit Schlafsofa bekommen. Laut Rezeption nicht zu ändern da alle anderen Zimmer belegt, auch kein Preisnachlass!

Tolles Hotel mit tollen Mitarbeitern 🤩

Wir waren jetzt im September zum Almabtrieb hier in diesem Hotel. Die Lage und die Landschaft ringsum das Hotel sind einfach nur wunderschön. Wir waren zu dritt hier und haben die Zimmer mit HP gebucht. Das Frühstücksbufett lies keine Wünsche offen. Am Abend standen 3 unterschiedliche Essen zur Auswahl. Das Personal war der Hammer und super nett. Man merkte bei jedem, dass ihm die Arbeit hier Spaß macht. Was auch sicherlich an den Hauseigentümer liegt. Es war ein super Urlaub und ein dickes Dankeschön👍 LG Tisch 22😉

Für unseren Drei Tage Kurztrip vollkommen zufriedenstellend.

Das Frühstück war gut und vielfältig, ohne viel Schnick Schnack! schönes großes Waschbecken mit reichlich Ablage. Kleiner Außenpool zum planschen und Saunaanlage sind vorhanden. Wasserfallnähe Terrasse mit kleinem Blick in Richtung Berge.

Das Badezimmer leider die Dusche in der Badewanne und der Brauseduschkopf ist für eine Körperhöhe vom max. 1,65m ausgelegt und dann ist eben Handbrause angesagt! Der Zugang zum Zimmer durchs Haus leider nicht sehr gut für sehbehinderte Menschen ausgeleuchtet und markiert!
