We loved the garden side cottage room setting. Very pretty gardens and the hammock was a great feature. It's a quiet area and you cannot hear too much traffic, it's a lovely place to sit and appreciate nature. The staff were so friendly and accommodating from the receptionists to the bar staff and especially the staff in the dinning room/restaurant. The rooms were clean and the air conditioning was really effective. The rooms are simple in terms of facilities (no coffee machine/mini fridge etc) but they are as advertised and photographed so you know what to expect. The breakfast buffet was perfect for us, Jamaican food options daily! We were not all inclusive but we did have a few evening meals in the restaurant, we opted for meals from the menu rather than the buffet. Prices were reasonable for Negril dining and the dishes we had were delicious. Wait time was on average 30mins which is pretty standard in Jamaica. The cliff top views were amazing and the grounds were well kept. The pool was great to cool off in and was next to the bar area, there were no lounge chairs whilst we were there. It was great that they have a shuttle bus down to the partner hotel Legends which is down on 7 mile beach. They also have taxi drivers associated with the hotel; very helpful if you want to explore the local area.

The room we stayed in was lovely except for the fact that the bathroom isn't fully enclosed (it has an open ceiling) meaning that at times we had to coordinate with each other for complete bathroom privacy! The main dining area has a great view and a good atmosphere, it would be great if it had air conditioning in there. It was low season and the reggae band were good but it would be great if they had an additional evening entertainment offer once a week too.

Budget friendly with just enough amenities to keep you occupied. Breakfast buffet was great. stay was great. I am an ardent traveler I visit a large all inclusive yearly in Jamaica and other parts of the world a few times. I do staycation in a few small air bnb and apartments and small hotels. I love to travel and Samsara was just the right scenery. I observed cliff jumpers ( not a great swimmer). I loved the space. As a older hotel you can see that thought waa plaved in tge design. The staff are attentive and extremely pleasant. Rooms are dated/ charming and clean. But I love charm, history and character in buildings so I seek out odd rustic stays sometimes. The big resorts can get too similar in what they offer. I was at Moon Palace ocho Rios the week before and I enjoyed the intimacy of Samsara more. We are locals so you know aside from breakfast we ate on the road. The pool we tried was clean but both look clean. I stayed over the 3 feet limit lol. There is 5 feet and 8 feet for the great swimmers. The views are great. We chose a Seaview room on the older side. They do have the more modern side if a more updated room is desired. Great location. Safe to walk to town but we drove. Taxi service is right there by the front desk. Two or more drivers are there daily available for all your travel needs. Beach access at legend is great also. Beach shuttle is provided but we drove over. Although beach chairs can be limited as its shared by both resorts. Hot water work. No shampoo or bodywash are provided or shower cap so take those or you can easily grab affordable ones at any of the near walkable stores. Will be heading back at Samsara someday. But as a traveler... on to the next adventure. I definitely recommend.

I thought it would have had varieties of meals until I found it yard vybz. Being served and the space where the serving was done was too small, overcrowded and little hot for the visitors. The lack of sucks or meal for the late comers was a turn off. After breakfast,lunch or dinner i thought I’ll still have something to bite. I asked for upstairs room and I was given downstairs, I was clear in my asking during reservation. From the website it shows to have another sight but there wasn’t.
