Cute little bungalow for a decent price, well-run campsite

Cute little bungalow with a sink. The shower facilities were good, with no timers on the hot water! short walk up and over some dunes to the beach. The included morning yoga was excellent! The front desk staff were always very friendly and they have a nice little store with necessities, and freshly baked bread and pastries in the morning.

The bungalow itself could have been cleaner, and you need to bring your own sheets or rent some for an extra cost.

perfect location!

The location is unbeatable! it’s also nice that you’re able to park your car in front of the cottage. This way you don’t have to carry all your stuff all at once. The staff was very friendly!

Personally, I’m not a fan of loft beds. They also seemed pretty small. if you’re not staying in the cottage with 4 people, you can just use the couch that turns into a bed in the living room/kitchen area. It feels more spacious and was quite comfortable.

Wonderful stay behind the dunes

The location of the bungelows behind the dunes is exceptional! There is a small bath with a slide and whirlpool u can use on the camping site. A big kitchen with all opportunities to cook an bake is available as well. The property is such a nice location for relaxing, families and people with dogs. Highly recommended!

The cottage smelled of mold and there were bugs inside. Expensive old cottage. Next night we slept at awesome hotel Scandic Bygholm Park at the same price.

Really good value for your money if you do not get into logistics nightmares.

The location and facilities are very good considering the price, I found it was extremely good value. Swimming pool while small was still tons of fun for the kids and we enjoyed the sauna. Again, considering the price it was all good. It was October and Halloween decoration was SERIOUS business here, it was really nice. WiFi was REALLY good. Good enough to stream Netflix and co.

The logistics were a disaster. We had car trouble and we arrived late, but we let them know in advanced (and they confirmed the next day they saw my message) and they indeed left us the keys in a safe box but they did not tell us anything and they did not provide information about how to access the keys, they could send us a message through Booking.com, an email, an SMS, a WhatsApp message, etc. We arrived at 10 pm and had to call a phone number only in Danish and figure out first after multiple tries that the same line is for several camping places and we had to choose ours, again all in Danish. We managed to get our keys but to our surprise it was the wrong cabin type. We paid for a cabin with toilet and we've got one without toilet. We spent the night there and the next day went to do the check-in and to complain about the wrong cabin. They made us wait in the reception for one hour and fifteen minutes and while they offered us a free coffee, it is still pretty unreasonable to make us wait so long there. If they needed time to clean the other cabin they could let us know and we didn't have to wait there for so long. The other issue was that you need a card to enter the swimming pool area and our card never worked, every single day for one week we had to go back too the reception and queue up to talk to the person in charge, sometimes we had to wait 3 minutes, sometimes 20 minutes. Every single day someone from the reception had to go with us and open the door for us. In one whole week they couldn't figure out the problem. We didn't receive any discount for the first night in the cheaper cabin. I would give at least an 8.0 if we didn't have problems.

Great view, great location on walking distance of the ocean. The cottage has a cozy and natural feel to it, not a 'center parks vibe'. Can imagine a lot of the downsides look a little better when you visit this place with 30degrees sunny weather

Not very clean, bit worn. Couch keeps sliding 'open' as it is a sleeping-couch, not very comfortable. Matress upstairs (for kids) is mouldy and weathered, time for renewal. The bedding pack we received was for a single bed, altough the house only contains double beds. Our fault we did not check before bedtime, but some creativity was needed there.. Ventilation shafts make noise as we stayed during harsh Northsea winds.

Smallest beds ever ...

Overall facilities. Nice stuff. For camping you have all you need. Playground, swimming pool (although the water was quite cold and saunas are closed due to the restrictions).

Tiny beds - it was almost impossible to sleep, my husband could even turn around properly on the second bank... the lowest we gave to our small children. Therefore we only stayed for one night instead of 2, that we booked.

Disappointing

Nice pool, and nice with our own kitchen in the cottage.

We were sleeping in a cottage with bunk beds, and the beds were very small with thin mattresses, so very hard to sleep on. The staff was lazy and not very welcoming. At some point another guest dropped their baby food on the floor, and one of the guys in the reception just said to the other, that he didn't want to clean that up, they had to do it themselves. But a few moments later he went to get cleaning tools anyway. The swimming pool was okay. But half of it was not open. Sauna was closed, bubble bath was closed, steam bath was closed. There was no Internet. The WiFi couldn't reach our cottage, and my phone didn't have reception.
