Great local high standard hotel

After reading some reviews we didn’t expect too much. However, Tom the owner was delightful and caring.‘ He helped with our luggage up some stairs ( no lift) and parking our car. This hotel/ pub has a beautiful beergarten and great ( with local dishes) menu. Our breakfasts were amazing, all cheerfully served by Tom. We will stay there again. 😊👍 Shops , supermarkets and tram/ bus very close.

it was close to work the room was nice. close by market to buy stuff like lidl and rewe

there was no Air conditioning nor a fan and it was 35 degrees. cars in the street was so loud late at night and early morning which can be avoided if there was a ac or a fan so that a person wouldn't need to open the window. no delivery services for food deliver to its location

Room at the front overlooking Main Street was noisy throughout the night on occasions not good for a light sleeper . There are rooms also not at the front of the property .

Good accomodation at a fair price.

You get the key in the restaurant adjacent. The hotel however has got a seperate entry to be opened with your key, which is good. The hotel room was nice. Good value for money. This place is south of Köln in the high street of small town. You can get to the river Rhein in 500meters reaching just the area called "Beach" where you can take the sun on an artificial sandy beach at the river. Also there is a beautiful cycle track all along the riverside. You can reach Köln city center by bike within 15 min.

There is no parking belonging to the hotel. So you need to find your parking in the area on your own which was not too easy.

Wenn so ein Zimmer durch Booking com angemietet wird im Angebotsmodus dann buche ich nicht erneut über diese App.

Ich bin Rodenkirchenerin habe deswegen das Hotel gebucht. Schon beim Check in wurde ich angemault. Check in war mit Rücksprache des Besitzers , wenn möglich früher. Das Zimmer war Schrott! Siehe Bilder In Top schmutzig ! Das Personal verstand kein Deutsch, somit konnte keine Frage beantwortet werden.

Schmutzig , defekte Duschkabine plus schmutzig . Fernseher demontiert , Tapete abgerissen , WC- Papier nicht aufgefüllt , Kosmetik Tücher Starke aufgebaute Verkalkung in der Dusche / Rand Duschkabine nicht zu schließen kaputt und dreckig . Die Karte um die Tür zu öffnen war kurz nach Check in wieder Rot , so das nur der Zufall geholfen hätte ich nicht ins Zimmer zurück gemusst hätte ich nachts auf der Straße verbracht da auch die Haustür über die Karte zu öffnen ist . Die Service Kraft wollte es nicht glauben ! Leider ist der tatsächliche Zustand / Schmutz nicht gut zu sehen Ich bin 100% enttäuscht

Top Empfehlung

Mir hat hier alles gefallen. Der Chef und sein Team, super freundlich und entgegenkommend. Das Zimmer hatte alles was man braucht, für eine Übernachtung. Plus ein Wasser und 2 Kaffee aus der Kaffee -Maschine. Überall sehr sauber. Das Frühstück war Top und ein toller Start in den Tag. Ich empfehle dieses Hotel gerne weiter und habe es selbst auf meiner Favoritenseite gesetzt.

Um überhaupt etwas in der Kategorie "Was hat mir nicht gefallen" einzutragen: Es gibt keinen Aufzug zu den Zimmern. Für mich gar kein Problem. Aber für Menschen mit Behinderung beim Gehen sollten sie vorher die Möglichkeiten telefonisch abklären. Die Zeit für das Frühstück ist ab 8Uhr. Da wäre mir eine Stunde früher auch lieber gewesen. Aber gut, für andere vielleicht noch früher, für andere später. Da kann man es nicht allen Recht machen.

Einmal reicht.

Der Empfang war sehr freundlich, das Essen prima. Das war es dann aber auch schon... Es gab kein Frühstück, dafür hat der Wirt beim Abendessen einen Nachlass gewährt. i. O.

Das Zimmer war extrem klein, eng und unkomfortabel. (In meinem Wohnmobil habe ich deutlich mehr Platz und Komfort) Nachdem ich das Kabel des Fernsehers repariert habe, funktionierte wenigstens dieser. Im Zimmer gab es zwar eine Nespressomaschine, aber keine Kapseln! Die Dusche war dermaßen verschimmelt, dass das Zimmermädchen eine Abmahnung verdient. Ich habe den Wirt am nächsten Tag darauf aufmerksam gemacht. Entschuldigung... Fehlanzeige.

Die Lage

Der Gesamteindruck Kein Fernseher - Kabel hingen herunter , Fußleiste lag lose mit Nägel nach oben auf dem Boden, dreckige Vorhänge. Das Bad insgesamt nicht ansehnlich / nicht angenehm zu nutzen. Zum Flur hin sehr laut im Zimmer als würden gleich welche im Zimmer stehen. Frühstück ab 8 , wird wohl auf Bedarf angefertigt
