The whole experience was a pleasure from the moment we arrived until the time we checked out. A stunning venue in a stunning location. A friendly welcome, a very comfortable room, an incredible dining experience & a lovely atmosphere.

A lovely hidden gem

On arrival, we received a lovely welcome and we were shown to our accommodation which was very professional indeed. All the staff during breakfast and evening were fantastic, very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The location was perfect and very quiet, exactly what we wanted. A big thank you to all the staff, for making our stay a wonderful experience. l

I was next to the entrance driveway so was woken up by staff (?) driving in at 6am

What a beautiful place. The rooms are fabulous we had a lovely bath in the bedroom. The dining room was light and airy and it had a really nice outdoor space for a pre dinner drink.

Loved the location in small pretty village, staff so obliging in sorting out a booking error, really lovely room (12) upgraded on arrival, loved the large bottle of still water supplied. Great cooked breakfast,

No bran or muesli options on the continental menu and no pastries. Sadly no views from our room.

Everything about our stay was wonderful except for the poached eggs at breakfast!

The location is lovely. One of us had the full English breakfast which was very good. The other one of us ordered the poached eggs on toast, but they were over-cooked and hard which was very disappointing.

No excuse for over-cooked poached eggs in a place with its reputation and at the prices charged.

Stay but go around to the village pub to eat.

The room was comfortable and quiet all that was needed was there.

Our main evening meal was very disappointing.. well presented but lacking flavor.. pork belly and potatoes were tasteless while my wife had fish with a sauce that overpowered the ingredients and she found she couldn’t eat. The wines were mediocre and overpriced.

The old manor house is really a PR tool and seems not to be used in the main. A slight feeling of manipulation?

Beautiful setting, very comfortable bed with luxury bedding, towels etc

A notch above - a peaceful wonderful place to stay

Our second stay at Eckington manor - it was wonderful and we highly recommend this individual authentic British accommodation, with easy access to the western edge of the Cotswolds and the M5. The rooms are situated in beautifully converted and stunningly decorated character agricultural outbuildings, are well equipped, have comfortable beds with quality linen and the showers are powerful. Tea and coffee are available in the rooms. The restaurant is outstanding, has an excellent wine list curated by Matt who was happy to spend time to help with our choice. Our meal was simply delicious, beautifully presented as a fine dining experience. There was a good choice for breakfast, which was excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful and are part of authentic customer care experience. We loved our stay.

The wifi but the hotel receptionist explained that they are taking actions to address this. She was lovely.

A pure gem of a stay in the middle of nowhere.

A great place off the beaten track. Rooms were of a good size and clean with all of the facilities that you needed. The Resteraunt was superb.

The duvet was super hot and no top sheet so couldn’t just use a top sheet. But that’s very picky. It was otherwise a great gem.

Welcoming, calm and serene, surrounded by beautiful gardens and countryside. Impeccable room, had everything we need - hand made locally shower wash, tea/coffee etc, Polite, friendly staff who would do anything to make one feel welcomed and cared for.

- The location. - Very spacious,comforting and luxurious rooms. - Very friendly and helpful staff. - Value for money. - Breakfast and Evening meal was delicious. - Calming and you feel like you can unwind and hear the sound of nature.

- No evening meals on Tuesdays (especially travelling and working hard all day,and find that the restaurant is closed) - Expensive evening meal (didnt know the prices at the time before I booked online) and not suitable for people on a tight budget etc...unless it's for a especially occasions. - Full English breakfast could have a little more on the plate.

A tucked away hotel full of delightful suprises

Generous size room with nice quirky touches. Excellent menu, all meals cooked beautifully. Staff were polite friendly and helpful. Very pretty outside areas.
