The venue is peaceful and everything was provided for, eg. fire wood, kitchen facilities, hot water bottles etc. My husband was happy with the fishing facilities.
I felt like the reviews overated Stonecutters. There is not a lot to do at the venue and the kitchen facilities are old and in need of a revamp. I mentioned to the cleaning lady that the dishwasher was not cleaning the dishes properly and the sink was leaking. We battled to get the wifi to work and had to figure it out by ourselves. The venue is very average but I felt like we were charged a premium rate so I do not feel that the weekend was value for money.
