Staff very friendly and accommodating. Interesting breakfast but too many sweet things offered would have been nice to have some savoury things as well, even scrambled eggs and bacon for example and better bread

The digital menu, was awkward to use could really see all that was offered. A little more description in English would also be helpful. The prices were a little steep for our liking for what was offered.

The size of the room, the cleanliness, the terrace, the staff was very friendly. The grounds and restaurant was absolutely beautiful and the food was very good! Also an excellent location, very close to town. Definitely walking distance to town other than the hill to get back.

The refrigerator is too small, no microwave and the pool was so cloudy and dirty it wasn’t even usable.

An off-the-beaten-path find!

The wonderful staff set the tone for our visit! The property was totally renovated 11 years ago. Rooms are smaller than Americans are used to, modestly furnished, and very clean, as is the whole property. The restaurant dinner menu had a nice variety. The restaurant also has a separate pizza & calzone menu, and based on the number of locals that were either dining in or picking up pizzas, and what I saw coming into the dining room made me hungry for pizza! — but we ordered from the dinner menu instead. Because there were not many guests in the hotel, breakfast was a choice of either a “sweet plate” ( home made) or a “salty” plate. We ordered one of each and we should have ordered two salty plates.

For a 4 star hotel, there should be a better variety for breakfast: some juice, butter and jelly, fresh bread, yogurts, and some hard boiled eggs, etc. Since there is no buffet, they should have a menu for breakfast.

Fantastisch verblijf in heel ruime en comfortabele kamer

Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Heel mooi en comfortabel hotel, in dit seizoen (eind oktober) heel rustig. Gelegen net buiten het stadje, met privéparking, heel handig want in het stadje zelf onmogelijk parkeerplaats te vinden. Vandaar dat we ook altijd in het hotel gegeten hebben 's avonds. Mooi uitgebreid menu à la carte en een pizzeria, zeer lekker gegeten en niet duur. Goede ligging om alles rond het stadje te bezoeken: Etruskische opgravingen, villa's met mooie tuinen, Viterbo en Tarquinia...

La posizione della struttura.

Tutto, ma esponiamo le problematiche singolarmente: In fase di prenotazione mi hanno convinto le foto della struttura e le 4 stelle, poi raggiunta la destinazione, la triste realtà. Le 4 stelle sono secondo me equivalenti ad un ostello con una stella; La struttura è molto trasandata, ho effettuato alcune foto per rendere visibile le suesposte problematiche; La piscina era inaccessibile, nel senso che era completamente ricoperta di foglie e a dir poco fatiscente, alcune sdraie danneggiate e mal e grossonalmente riparate, con rivetti e scotch e una imponente antenna che stonava con il paesaggio circostante e da verificare se produca campi magnetici pericolosi per l'essere umano essendo a ridosso della struttura; Altro punto dolente, la camera, sporca, trasandata e con mobilio usurato, mura sporche, placca presa di corrente mancante, presenza di capelli all'interno delle lenzuola, nella doccia e sul lavandino (foto). Terribile é stata la notte in quanto proveniva dall'esterno un rumore assordante (forse dei frigoriferi o da altro sistema accesso h24) accompagnato da uno scarsissimo isolamento degli infissi (di legno con vetro sottilissimo, di anni 90 o superiore ma di pessima qualità) con audio registrato. Abbiamo deciso di cenare all'interno del ristorante dell'albergo, spinti dalle buone recensioni lette su tripadvisor ma la cena si é rilevata appena sufficiente, le pietanze erano non fresche, i fritti quali supplì e fiori di zucca preparati con olio vecchio e molto pesante, unica eccezione il primo ovvero gli gnocchi all'eremo. Discreta la colazione. Detto ciò NON ci ritornerei, peccato perché la posizione era ottima.

Il soggiorno purtroppo non è stato all’altezza delle aspettative di un hotel a 4 stelle. 1. Alla reception ci hanno chiesto copia delle carte d’identità tramite fotocopiatrice. È bene ricordare che, secondo l’art. 34 del D.Lgs. 196/2003 (Codice Privacy) e le disposizioni del Garante, la struttura deve solo registrare i dati anagrafici, non conservare fotocopie dei documenti. 2. La cassaforte era guasta. Hanno tentato di sostituirla prelevandone altre da stanze diverse: dopo due tentativi ne hanno trovata una funzionante, ma comunque non fissata da nessuna parte, semplicemente appoggiata nell’armadio. 3. Mobili visibilmente usurati e soffitto del balcone scrostato, danno un’impressione di scarsa manutenzione. 4. La portafinestra che dà sul balcone è oscurata solo da una tenda molto leggera: una potente lampada esterna illumina stabilmente il balcone e punta proprio verso la finestra, impedendo il buio in stanza fino a notte inoltrata, quando finalmente viene spenta. 5. Su Booking era indicata la presenza di accappatoi, ma in realtà non c’erano. Ho chiesto chiarimenti e mi è stato risposto che con “accappatoio” intendono semplicemente l’asciugamano grande. 6. In bagno mancava la mensola sotto il lavandino (probabilmente di vetro e rotta), con conseguente assenza di spazio d’appoggio. 7. Sul tavolino era presente una candela in cera, che lascia pensare a possibili blackout, ma senza alcun accendino fornito per accenderla. 8. Al ricevimento ci è stato detto che la reception di notte rimane chiusa: un servizio che invece dovrebbe essere garantito 24 ore su 24 in un quattro stelle. 9. Abbiamo cenato con una pizza nel ristorante/pizzeria associato, abbastanza rinomato: nulla di straordinario, anzi ho mangiato di meglio altrove.

Nel complesso, le criticità riscontrate sono numerose e non giustificano la classificazione a quattro stelle.

Tutto quello che cercavamo e anche di più

Abbiamo alloggiato in questo hotel in occasione del concerto di Nigiotti, cercavamo una soluzione tranquilla per pernottare al centro di Soriano ma devo dire che abbiamo trovato tanto di più. L'hotel ha un comodo parcheggio, così lasci la macchina e non hai problemi, c'è una piscina e tanti spazi verdi per rilassarsi. Lo staff ti fa sentire a casa, sorridente, disponibile e pieno di energia. Un plauso ad Elio. La colazione è speciale, prodotti di qualità, varietà e una selezione di dolci fatti in casa. Spinti dalla voglia di mangiare qualcosa di buono, a cena, ci siamo affidati alle recensioni del ristorante e abbiamo fatto bene, consigliatissimo, non lo definirei il ristorante dell'hotel nel modo classico con cui si è soliti definirlo, questo ristorante è un punto di riferimento locale, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, porzioni abbondanti e gustose. Abbiamo assaggiato le pappardelle al ragù di cinghiale e i pici con sfilacci di cinta al tartufo veramente speciali, pasta fatta in casa e piatti carichi di condimento, buono anche il mix di fritti, nel menù c'è l'imbarazzo della scelta, prossima volta proveremo la pizza (hanno il forno a legna) e poi abbiamo visto uscire un tagliere veramente carico di prelibatezze, bisognerà provare!

Breve soggiorno

Nel periodo invernale e primaverile, andiamo una volta al mese a Soriano per accompagnare nostro figlio dalla sua ragazza e ci siamo trovati bene in questa struttura, camere accoglienti, ampio parcheggio e personale cortese, ci torneremo di nuovo.....

Bello, ma non un hotel dove dormire bene, quindi…

- Molto belli l’area ristorante e il giardino, location ideale per festeggiare un evento o per una serata in compagnia. - La camera da letto molto spaziosa e, su richiesta, possibile aggiungere una culla gratuita. - La colazione dolce è ricca di torte che sembrano appena sfornate. - La pizza molto buona (sottile e croccante).

- La reception in comune con la cassa del ristorante, un po’ sacrificata come posizione. Un po’ di confusione fatta con gli scontrini di un paio di clienti, meglio fare attenzione al conto. - Presenza di tantissime zanzare, purtroppo da prevedere con tante piante e fiori bellissimi attorno a ristorante e zona camere. - Il materasso è molto duro e scomodo, ma la vera sfortuna è stata avere la camera sopra il ristorante, con il vociare dei clienti, la musica del locale e le grida di bambini e ragazzini che ti tengono sveglio fino a mezzanotte (anche con porta finestra e scuri chiusi non c’era comunque isolamento acustico). - Povera la colazione salata e inesistenti opzioni senza glutine sul tavolo buffet (non sono esposti nemmeno ingredienti/allergeni, quindi è difficile anche saperlo con certezza)
