Took a chance but...

Reception staff nice and polite and helpful. Lobby well decorated. Check in and check out smooth.

Hotel too noisy. Bathroom shower wall moldy. Toilet seat loose. 4 guests-only 3 towels. Gap under front door letting in light and possibly bugs. Fire detector blinking brightly constantly interrupting sleep. Breakfast staff stressed and pretty much impolite and dismissive.

It has a lot of potential to be a very nice hotel.

The location as in proximity to the port of entry to El Paso. In addition, it’s across the street from a shopping plaza with supermarket and pharmacy and 2 extra restaurant options other than the one in the hotel. I also really like the architecture of the hotel with an open air atrium and the pool, hot tub also in the middle with ample outdoor furniture and the small gym that did the trick during my stay. I also liked how all the hotel room wrapped around the open air with the balconies. The restaurant was nice and reasonably priced.

I didn’t like the staff that was at the reception when we arrived. They young guys were very dry and never even shared a smile. The card keys were always deactivated and had to keep going back and forth to the front desk which was super inconvenient at times. The shower in the room I got, had the plumbing backwards… in other words, I had to turn on the ‘cold’ knob for hot water and the ‘hot’ for cold. It was terrible the first time because I thought I would never have hot water while I was in the shower at 11pm and tired… how was I supposed to know it was switched! Then in the process, I found out all the phone buttons for the hotel room phone do not work. I had to use my own phone to call reception. After contacting them they finally informed me how to use the working buttons on the phone. The shuttle buses to and from the athletic stadium was a hassle and did not appreciate having to worry about arriving on time when it was said we were guaranteed shuttle rides. I learned that other guests could have priority. Then they also made it an issue to get a ride to the ciudad Juárez airport, even though it was promised as part of my stay. The room furniture and comforter had stains and the bathroom was missing some finishing touches to the Reno work that was done.

I book two rooms for my family of 6 toddler included. In one of my rooms, the toilet didn't work and the shower water was clogged. they move me rooms. In the room that I was moved into the door didn't close and the wall outside the bathroom had a lot of moisture in it. Also when my kids turn the tv on there was a channel for adults of you know what I mean. The floors from both were dirty, especially the bathroom. there was hair from someone else. Overall pictures from the interest are not what you expected once you arrived. outside it's nice but I'm not staying outside!!! construction was lazy, but I would understand if the rooms were clean either housekeeping is lazy or they just make the beds because the floors are dirty with hair, not broom or mop correctly, and the shower is dirty. I had stayed in many hotels in cd Juarez and the united states while traveling and by far this is the worst one I had stayed in!!!
