Scam to call themselves a wellness hotel - you are also treated as second class guest if you book it over booking.com

Nice outdoor area, free parking, breakfast included.

Extra charge for everything (gym, bathrobe, spa, etc). When booked through third party website the hotel treats you as second class. Did not feel welcome. Bath towels are way too small (more like face towel size). Rooms are in the basement and quite dark. Elevators are super slow. Sauna was cold (50°C), and staff demounted thermometer after multiple guests complained (nice way to solve a problem…). In the “wellness” area, there are not enough lounger chairs for all guests. All in all bad experience, as we chose the hotel because of the spa area, and were really disappointed with the venue and staff. Wouldn’t recommend.

Exceeding all our expectations.

The entire facility was amazing. It was clean , orderly , and felt super luxurious. The breakfast was high quality with many options. I would absolutely come back to this hotel!

Parking was a bit difficult to find as the parking lot was not very large, but that would not deter us from coming back.

Has a vending machine - broken Shower head in the room - broken Room service for dinner at 7pm - can’t restaurant is too busy so my boss and her 3 year old had no dinner! Specifically asked for 1 guests city tax to be split off as company was not paying for this person, charged it to the company card and refused to correct it!

Trying to find an excuse to return.

Last minute booking en route. All staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Room clean, comfortable and quiet, sufficient for our stay. Restaurant food was delicious, breakfast plentiful and the grounds were beautiful.

I guess rooms were clean but that’s about it.

Starting with the majors: 1. Due to my late arrival I got a phone call from the reception and we agreed that an envelope with my key would be left in an agreed location. Nothing was left for me, I have spent 30 minutes outside with my luggage until miraculously someone from the staff left the hotel and let me in. No response calling neither the bell not the landline. 2. I got a room on the ground floor. The sound insulation in the room was a joke. I could hear absolutely every sound from the corridor, door slamming and people talking from 7-10 a.m. 3. With a check-out at 11 a.m. I was woken up by a cleaning lady at 10:10. 4. Needless to say, I slept terribly. 5. Breakfast was extremely underwhelming. No service, overcooked eggs and underfried bacon. 6. Cheap tiles on the floor, not cosy at all. 6+7 indicate a standard of 2 stars, definetely not 4.

Bed - no way to have one king bed instead of one double bed, you need upgrade room (not clear in the booking) Noise - the doors are not the silence doors. so you are wakeup by your neighboord when the wakeup early

Exceptional

Booked at short notice en-route from Norway to the Uk. What a gem of a hotel. So easy to find off the motorway yet so quiet. Beautiful aspect with gardens we would love to sit in on a summer's evening. The restaurant staff were so friendly and attentive along with great food. Found by fluke but we will definitely return.

Beds are good

No electric kettle in the room as well as no telephone to reach reception. No water, no coffee no tea nothing! No refrigerator. We booked a room, payed 150€ and it was a disaster because it was at the entrance downstairs, lot of noise at night and in the morning, people shutting doors, making noise while going for breakfast... our room nr 8 was right in front of the hall door, so if you opened the room door, you couldn't pass because of the hall door??? Very strange. Booked double room, but two separate beds :( I think this is not a cheap room/breakfast but is was very basic and not ok compared to other hotels.
