Seminyak is quite ideal to stay in Bali, you're not far from canggu or kuta with less traffic and more quiet. The beaches are great, I actually took opportunities to jog every morning alongside the beach. And the hotel, it's close to the beach, it's clean, the hot water never failed. Definitely a place to come back

I'm not sure how this has good reviews. Make this the one that matters. It's 100% truth. I stay in around 100 hotels a year, this is the worst. Room ***. First thing that happens when I arrive is the staff tells me "there is loud music from 7-11" but we will provide earplugs. Earplugs aren't stopping that sound. The bed was disgusting, already had dirt and someone's hair on it. There was hair all over this place somehow. The AC although I let it run for over 2hrs was still could and was beginning to make my noise feel stuffy (I'm sure the filter is completely clogged). There was ants running around everywhere (I'm sure this is true of all the rooms as it looks like they are attempting to prevent it using towels at the entrance of the room). The mini fridge did not work. The bathroom was not that clean but acceptable, no issues with the shower either. The staff was super nice and helpful, and as I just got off a 20hr flight I didn't bother trying to deal with all the issues and just left as I'm sure it's true of all the rooms. But that doesn't excuse anything, I should be able to just lie down and get some sleep in a safe comfortable room. It's cheap for a reason. Stay away. The staff are very friendly though but it can't excuse the very real issues with the property. I only paid $***but I'd rather I'd known that $***does not get you a liveable place.
