Wonderful experience in a small, boutique ryokan just minutes on foot from Lake Shikotsu. No on-site onsen but able to use all the facilities of the neighbouring Daichi sister hotel. Amazing Japanese-Italian fusion cuisine.
Unfortunately the building was in scaffolding due to repairs to the roof (but no noise), but even without this don´t expect a view of the lake as they are not allowed to cut down the trees. Please improve the quality of your free wines on offer during dinner.

支笏湖の環境は素晴らしいし、コンビニや俗悪な施設がないのがよい。 施設内がゆったりしていて、リラックスできた。
施設内に温泉がないこと。
