Good hotel, not so good on Sunday

Nice modern well equipped rooms, quiet and good parking.Nice hotel but be careful if you book for a Sunday.Good breakfast.

Unfortunately we booked for a Sunday and when booking did not realise the restaurant was not open for evening meals. Also when we arrived no staff were on the premises, we had not had an email giving us the code to open a safe box on site to get our key. It was a shame that no instructions were put on the main door telling you what to do on a Sunday. Monday we had breakfast but you have to be out by 10.00 which is quite early, when we left no staff were around to book out and no instructions on where to put the card key. It would also be helpful on a Sunday if they put some recommendations for places locally to have an evening meal.

Comfortable and enjoyable hotel - a keeper :)

Very welcoming property in a lovely quiet area. Has a lovely outside space to drink beer, chat & relax before enjoying the Spa/sauna, that is nice and relaxing. The spa area has both 85° and 60° sauna, with a spacious relaxation area inside and outside. Free towels are available in the sauna area and if you wish a bathrobe, it can be requested at a small charge. The access to the sauna is included in the room night, it makes it a great value for money. The rooms have a balcony, that is a rare commodity in many hotels and for me it is a big plus. The hotel serves good honest food at a reasonable price. Breakfast is abundant and good. This property is a keeper :)

Maybe consider longer sauna hours. I do understand that probably the hour choice is related to the energy cost so I don't hold against it.

Rooms were very modern and clean with an excellent shower. The staff were very friendly and the free breakfast was excellent along with the great choice of evening food served in the restaurant or outside space.

The first or last village in Germany is a great place for an overnight stop.

Great accommodation, very nice welcome, modern facilities. Good breakfast, large parking lot, typical German restaurant. All in all, it's worth staying, not just for layovers, but also for a few nights to discover the beautiful surroundings.

Very friendly, good and reasonably priced food. Little communal kitchen area was great. Plenty of free parking. We were looking for somewhere to break our trip to Italy and this was perfect. Would definitely recommend. Also want to explore the local area some time. It is stunning.

Good hotel room, but poor restaurant and unprofessional reception desk staff

The room was very pleasant and clean.

The restaurant was poor. Service took long and the veggie burger was very bad. The bun and fries were dry and the burger was undercooked and fell apart into mush as soon as I started eating. When asked by the reception desk staff the next day whether all had been well I mentioned the veggie burger and he said that that was what you got with vegetarian dishes. This was an absurd answer; first of all the dish was poor in all respects, not just the burger. But more importantly, if you put something on the menu and have people pay for it, you should make sure to be able to prepare it properly. I said it might be better to either take it off the menu or to make sure it was good, but the staff member said the cook needed something vegetarian on the menu and those veggie things were just not very good; he wouldn't eat it himself because he was 'meat all the way'. I was really surprised by this unprofessional attitude; I'm not a vegetarian but just felt like having a veggie burger and if something is on the menu, the cook should make sure to know how to prepare it well. Even a simple supermarket veggie burger would have been so much better than what I got in the restaurant. Being dismissive of vegetarian food as an excuse for a dish being bad is not a professional response.

very nice ppl, very good beds. we arrived at 23:00, left at 07:00, so we only slept there.

we didnt use the breakfast as it was only available from 08:00.
