Good accommodation in Protaras

Location is great! You have easy and quick access to Fig Tree Bay and Vryssi Beach, about a 5-minute walk. There are a few stairs that shortcut the walk from the pool area and take you directly to Protara Street. Lidl is also just 5 minutes away, and the same goes for the bus stops. The hotel has a lovely entrance, private parking, and a great pool. Buffet breakfast is varied and delicious, and I absolutely loved enjoying it by the pool, so relaxing! I stayed in a studio on the first floor on the right side, which unfortunately didn’t face the pool. I’m sure the views are much nicer from the second or third floor on the left side. The room itself was spacious, with a nice balcony where you can enjoy sunrise or sunset depending on the room orientation. I also appreciated the complimentary fruits, bottle of water, and wine waiting in the fridge, such a thoughtful gesture. A big plus: you can continue using the pool after checking out. You can leave your luggage in the storage room and use the showers and restrooms on level -1. Such a great detail, since most hotels don’t offer showers after checkout. Staff were nice and friendly. 😊

As for things that could be improved: the kitchen could be better equipped, and it would be helpful to have a sponge and dish soap provided. There were also no toiletries, so I had to buy my own, which is unusual for a hotel. The bed wasn’t very comfortable either.

It was completely booked so we had to settle for a different room. We didn't get a Lam leg one night - and one of us was very sad about it.

My stay was enjoyable

Breakfasts were standard, similar to those in other hotels of the same category. Nothing was missing. The staff were very friendly and helpful, which is a big plus for this hotel. The hotel’s location is very good – close to the beach yet away from the street noise.

The only complaint I have is about the bathroom. It needs a thorough cleaning. With such high humidity, mold and mildew develop very quickly, but they can be removed with the right cleaning products. It just requires a bit more effort.

FABULOUS HOTEL

Everywhere in the hotel was spotless and all staff lovely. Our room was perfect. It had great working air con, a fridge, safe, hairdryer and big comfy bed. The pool area is big with plenty of sun beds with a bar open all day and night that serves reasonably priced food and drinks. There is a great children’s play area too. The breakfasts were delicious there was nothing that you could not have. There was cooked breakfast, cereal, fruit, yoghurt, salad, pastries to mention a few. It was constantly topped up when needed so always hot and fresh. The location is fabulous near countless bars and restaurants and also the beach but far enough away not to hear the noise at night. I feel that they are also a really sustainable hotel from my view point and I really like that. We tried to stay longer as we loved it so much it was booked solid I am not surprised. Highly recommended, we will be back. Thank you

Would definitely consider returning

Totally ticked all the boxes and great value for money. Friendly, professional staff, from the reception, restaurant, bar and cleaning staff were all top rate. The grounds and pool area were kept very clean and well maintained. The room had all the facilities you need for a great self-catering holiday but food is served at lunch and dinner, at a reasonable price, in the hotel.

You are only allowed one key card which can cause issues, but the reception staff did offer to supply a temporary card if required.

Very very good hotel apartment.

The staff were very friendly. The breakfast and dinner were also very good. Every night there was a buffet featuring a different cuisine (Mexican, Greek, BBQ, Gourmet, International, etc.) for only €15 per adult, half price for children (ages 3–18), and free for babies (ages 0–2). The swimming pool was clean and well maintained. The location is excellent—just a 3-minute walk from Fig Tree Bay and the town center.

Very nice experience. We would go again.

Great location about 6-7 minutes walk from one of the beast beaches in Cyprus (Fig Tree Bay), quiet, spacious room with good air conditions. Descent pool with friendly staff bringing cool towels and fruits daily while enjoying the pool. Very good breakfast and good food at the hotel restaurant if you want to stay in for lunch or dinner.

A couple of times we could feel the dirt on the floor when walking barefoot in the apartment after it was cleaned.

Great place, fabulous staff

Lantiana Gardens is a well located, clean and very pleasant hotel. All the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. I had no problems and felt very comfortable as a solo traveller. I would absolutely recommend Lantiana Gardens.

The only issue I had was with other guests who instead of shutting their doors, allowed them to slam making quite a noise, regardless of the time and often when I was trying to sleep. Apart from that a great hotel, with wonderful, very friendly and helpful staff! I would definitely stay there again.

Quiet family place to stay in the middle of the heart of Protaras!

It had a big breakfast and variety!! Pool was clean! Location was excellent! Close by in walking distance to everything! Staff was friendly! Clean place! U can order by the pool and enjoy ur day! It was our anniversary and they left us a little suprise in the room!! Very cute!

There was workers working on the hotel during the day! They should have shaped the place up before the arrival of visitors!

We liked everything. The location was great and the hotel room comfortable and clean. The staff team were friendly and went above and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. We don’t normally have main meals in a hotel preferring outside restaurants. However the food was delicious so we had dinner a couple of times at the Lantiana

Very nice aparthotel at a splendid location

Firstly, as other reviewers mentioned, the location is super convenient: 2 min from the main strip and 5 min from the beach on foot. In addition, we especially enjoyed the food, a big thank you to the restaurant manager and the rest of the staff. Besides the tasty meals and the service provided, we appreciate the attentiveness as regards to our daughter's allergy. They did everything necessary so that she could enjoy equally tasty meals as the rest of us in a safely manner. Finally, we also enjoyed the pool area which was clean and with a good view of the Fig tree bay. The rooms were overall good and the bathroom recently renovated. Overall we have a good time in Lantiana and would recommend without hesitation.

Would come back, loved my stay!

I loved staying here. Two things that would make this stay more exceptional: filling vegan options for breakfast and shampoo and toothpaste. Otherwise what a great value. Clean, nice room and such lovely stuff.

Great team, happy to meet them.

Food: Breakfast was really good and sufficient. The buffer offers wide range (yogurt, flakes, vegetables, fruits, cheeses, but also British breakfast), some sweet pastry. We were fully satisfied. Lunches and dinners ware great value for money. Especially I loved their stifado (really one of the best I ate in Cyprus) and sweets. They definitely had the best panna cota I had and traditional Cypriot sweets were also very good. Team: To me, the team is fantastic. Whether the chiefs from the kitchen or the ladies on reception, all were very helpful. And the waitstaff from restaurant were allways kind, smiling and very nice people. Hotel is in general very family friendly and oriented on Nordic and British visitors.

In 2 words: old, dirty, noisy and dangerous to take shower. rude stuff 1.Attention guys! Loud construction just 10 metres from the hotel and you wont be able to sleep in the morning. 2. No soundproofing in the rooms. So you wont be able to sleep in the night because you will hear every guest moving in the night! Huge gap between the door and the floor((( 3. Dangerous to take shower. Suddenly very hot water will hurt you((( 3. The hotel is very old with thin grey towels 4. dirty showers with black hair in the sink. 5. When I asked to change my room due to dangerous shower a male manager shouted at be and slapped the door on me. So my hands were shaken after his visit. After long discussion they changed the room. But… it had the same problems. Hairs in the sink and sudden hurtful change of the water temperature

Peace and smiles

The staff and the room .

They could put some toiletries like small shampoo, conditioner, body lotion. Be a little more careful when cleaning the shower in the place where the water runs. I found the hair left. The tv was tiny, tiny, tiny and not smart. I could not read the subtitles even wearing my glasses. They could separate the two single beds, with separate sheets and covers, the protecting covers and not one unique above. I could not sleep. The temperature of the air-conditioning and the way it worked was fixed and only cold not hot. At night I felt cold and I asked for blankets. One of the two blankets had some peculiar stains on it, white. They could leave a more choices. They could put some more or different deserts.

The Lantiana Gardens is in an excellent location being just a few minutes walk from the Strip and Fig Tree Bay but far enough that the music from the bars wasn't intrusive. Breakfast was included in our booking and the food was good quality, tasty & plentiful. Our apartment was clean, spacious, comfortable & came with all the kitchen items we needed. My favourite thing was the pool as it was a good size, clean, not too deep and had proper steps and not a really rickety ladder like alot of hotels in Cyprus. The staff were all friendly and helpful. All round a great place to stay for a holiday in Protaras.

The bathroom in our apartment looked great but it really really needs some form of rack or shelving in the shower. Those of us with restricted mobility or over a certain age don't want to have to pick our shampoo etc up from the floor. On an accessiblity note, there are slightly uneven hight steps on the way from reception to the pool but as I knew there would be steps and slopes were available, it's not a dislike just an FYI.

A real gem in the centre of Protaras ran by helpful & friendly staff ❤️

A great place to stay, out of the way of the main strip in Protaras but close enough to walk to Fig Tree Bay and lots of restaurants and bars. The staff at the hotel are extremely helpful and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast was perfect and we had dinner on the first night of arriving which was inexpensive and tasty. Apartment was spacious and had everything we needed for our stay and the pool area was clean and tidy with plenty of sun beds.

We couldn’t find any faults and we will definitely return.

Great hotel for families, being 2 minutes walk from the busy main street

- welcoming and caring team ( I can't highlight enough Marieta, Alex, Doros, and Constantinos - Thank you for your dedicated work!) - spacious room for 4( with 2 kids ) - great dinner special nights, excellent food - clear swimming pool - happy hour for cocktails is great ( Mango daiquiri is *****) - close to the Luna Park, Lidl, and also 5 min.walk to the sea

- you need to be quick in the morning to 'reserve' your beds at the swimming pool, even if it is not allowed, you must do so in order to have your sunbeds - during the night you will be waken up by slapping the door by other guests... which is not the hotel's fault of course but annoying

Everything is great, price related. To be honest i didn't expect such thing cause I consider i pay little for being high season on main point of entire Ayia napa. 4min walk to the beach. Of course there are some details missing , but if this would be added the hotel would have to increase price obviously. Food is also very good and there's variety on the breakfast

A great place to stay

A nice apartment complex, in a great spot. It's near to the sea, to the restaurants, pubs and markets. The apartments are clean. The day we arrived in the fridge we found freshly chopped fruits!! The staff is friendly and polite . They are always with a smile and willing to help you. We had a great time and we will book here again for our next vacations.

The only thing that we "didn't like" is that we had to wake up very early in the morning to find a place to sit around the pool.

Lovely place with amazing staff

We stayed here only one night but what a lovely place. Nice and clean room, amazing and service minded staff, good pool area, and the location was perfect, the beach is close and also shops, restaurants etc. The breakfast buffet was very good and included everything we needed. If we come back to Cyprus again we would definitely stay here again!

Everything was just fine. It was near the end of the season, and the place wasn't crowded .Personel was polite, room've been cleaned each day. Buffet, we had half board , was good. They had evenings with different national cuisines.

The fact that they don't have adapters for the electricity to borrow to guests. In order to charge the phone one has to go to the store and buy it. Don't order squids at the restoran. You'll get gummy, without taste , giant circles like plastic.😳

-Diner was not especially good, but it was Ok for the price -The bed was a bit hard -The bathroom could use some renovations
