Beautiful old historic building, with a great location overlooking the Loire; we were lucky enough to arrive when there was someone available to check us in, lovely large room with view on Loire and we could open the window; room and bathroom were very clean, contrary to some of the other reviews
The food and service at the restaurant were not great although it is a very pretty location outside on the terrace; we ate there because it was a Sunday evening and nothing else in the town was open

Location and staff were lovely. Very easy to get to. Charming historical building and garden right on the Liore. Brand new spacious bathroom. Room was spacious with 14 foot high ceilings with a peekaboo view of the river and a view of the garden from the bathroom. Restaurant on site was good but short staffed.
Accessibility is limited due to no elevator. Bed was a double not a queen even though the room was very spacious so a bit tight for two people. Room was cold. At least extra blankets were provided. Walls were bare (no wall art in the room) so it felt cavernous not cozy.
