    We had a comfortable 2-nights stay at Crowne Plaza, Narita. It's a very good and convenient transit hotel close to the Narita Airport. They even provide a comfortable airport transfer.

    On arriving at hotel I asked for a room with smart TV, simple request I have travelled all over Japan and had smart TV. A TV which has you tube . The man said no I could not have smart TV. I asked why it is common in Japan. This is a large crowns plaza hotel ofcourse it has smart TV in some rooms . He said no he could not give me this TV. As hotel is old and does not have capability . I questioned him and said please be honest . He would not give an honest answer and said this hotel does not have smart TV. I asked to speak to manager , the man and the manager spoke in their language and then the manager said they could not help me , no smart tv in hotel . I said I don' t believe you , this is ridiculous . They sent me away , deplorable customer service , just lied to me . Later I was in foyer and mentioned my request to a hotel staff member , I said I was told no smart TV In Hotel . He looked shocked and said this is not true . Later I spoke to another senior staffer and he had the same response their were some rooms which had smart TV. He said he would make my complaint known to his manager . So basically both reception people lied to me . Do not use this hotel . Later I went to dinner area . I noticed many people were boarding a bus a dinner time . They had no intention of eating at this hotel . I went in and had a buffet . Cost 6000 yen less 1000 yen if you are a guest . I had the buffet . Very ordinary selection , very basic menu , below standard food standards offered . My advice is don not use this hotel , to be lied to by staff on reception is shocking . I don't care if they didn't like the room rate . It's not my problem , it was booked online . I repeat their is a reason this hotel is poorly attended by foreigners awaiting to use narita airport .
