Ok for a night in Genova

Very vintage atmosphere, easy parking, a reasonable choice of restaurants in walking distance

More in the city than we thought. The beach is really near the commercial harbour

The location was very convenient. I was only staying the night as I was mid journey driving

I liked breakfast in the little garden. I particularly liked the trouble they took to retrieve my signet ring which had fallen down the washbasin plug in my bathroom!

Very good Place to stay in Genova !

Very nice Hotel, on the beach, with nice breakfast, in a very nice neighborhood, with nice restaurants, and relaxing atmosphere. Parking is OK, either in the hotel or public in place, the Chinese haircut place on the other side of the road, is just a positive surprise, the WIFI is strong, the room in basement was really fresh and quite, everything is OK ! Housekeeping is effective and fast.

The hotel is in great need of renovation, and refurnishing. There was no hotwater and we had to shower in lukewarm water. The location is nice.

Worst stay ever.

It was so bad I have to say nothing at all and this was a complete waste of money.

Its the worst experience I ever had in a hotel and I hope I wont ever have a worst or equal experience again. I booked a singles room through booking and it had nothing, and I reinforce... Nothing! to do with the pictures. It was basically a cell in the castle. Breakfast was very bad and short, not worth the price at all. It was super far from the city center and even so it was super hard to park around the area and it took very long to get anywhere. There was so much noise during the night, the room had zero isolation. Bathroom was basically a closet with shower and toilet and barely any ilumination. I didnt get any sleep at all and to be honest I should've slept on my car given that the bed was so uncomfortable that I couldn't sleep at all. A/c didn't work as well and it was very hot in the room.

Staff were very helpful, room was dual aspect with both windows giving sea view, right beside a beach with crystal clear water and very convenient for public transport in and out of Genoa

There’s not many places to eat in Pegli so try to plan ahead for food or supermarket

For the cost, not worth it. Would not stay again. Other hotels where we stayed, far superior.

bathroom was ok but tight/small.

The hotel needs a face lift and is very outdated and run down looking. While we understand it was a castle, it needs paint, a good cleaning and repair. The tile floor in the room was very outdated and dirty looking. Cover it with a rug! Electric items like lamps and coffee maker weren't even plugged in and outlets few and far between. There is no elevator and the room was 3 flights up! None of that was in the description. Furniture in the room was old and beat up looking. We chose to pay for parking but had to leave the car key. Breakfast was minimal and buffet style but not plentiful and it seemed some of the items were there the day before. Even the garden to eat in outside, needs work. Set up on outside tables lacking or inconsistent.

Terrific view of the beach, but of course, with that comes some noise. A very cool-looking building, a lovely place to eat breakfast in the grotto and sunken garden, a terrific rooftop deck with a sweeping view of the neighborhood and the harbor. And a friendly staff.

Beautiful hotel old hotel which we enjoyed very much with beautiful room with sea view with a comfortable bed.

bathroom had been used by smokers unfortunately.. which was not pleasant. two other small things which we did ask the reception for assist with. no plug for the kettle. tv control did not

Fantastic location between the beach and the promenade. Quaint, old fashioned decor, nice breakfast. Only ten minutes to ferry port.
