7 / 10Good·Sep 2026
Very centrally placed in the village
Carrying luggage from the car park to the guest house was difficult as the precinct location meant a 100 metre walk was annoying. The town did not have really any choice of eating places and the guest house did not do breakfast although i did find a cafe which served an excellent breakfast about 50 metres from the guest house

It was not clear that breakfast was not included.

Great old fashioned setup, almost was transported in time.
Shower rose was fiddly and wouldn't stay in position.
6 / 10Average·Oct 2026
Location and staff were great. Room was also very clean.
For me the bed was a bit hard and only 1 pillow, like 2 especially if I’m on a hard bed. Saying that my husband liked the firm bed. So just my opinion.
