Doña Ruidera

Las habitaciones muy cómodas y limpias. Nos tendieron muy bien y el desayuno muy rico. Queda muy cerca de varios restaurantes y la plaza con muchas vida

Bonita habitación y cómoda al lado del pueblo de Ruidera y de la laguna.

Limpieza muy buena, aunque habia algunos pelos en el baño desde el primer dia. Una de las toallas de mano tenía manchas amarillas.

At check in we were asked what time we would like breakfast - we said 8am . We were told “Too early - breakfast served at 9am” - great as we had a long* journey ahead! Breakfast to be served in your room on a tray because of COVID ! No problem anywhere else on our tour! In the room there was a fridge - but no water was left for the guests. There was a coffee machine with just 2. capsules. great ! So you had an evening coffee then access to nothing until breakfast served 9am (late for us! ) next morning. The village was tiny & remote - yes a couple of very small village shops that shut for siesta, then opened for a couple of hours in the evening. Not a problem. We expected that and we were fortunate enough to find a bar that served food as this establishment offered you nothing. Not even advice on where you could obtain food. Next morning we tried to shower - neither of us could get any water out of the shower at all. We tried every knob & button - to no avail. Some of the knobs were broken where it was obvious others had tried before, presumably with the same result Breakfast was typical Spanish fare - yes that was fine, but 2 small slices of cheese & 5 tiny ham slices plus one small pot of fruit between 2 adults was a poor fare. Also just 1 cup of coffee with no additional capsules so you could at least make a 2nd. within your room. The breakfast was bulked out with 2 large slices of cake. Never again! It seems in this establishment COVID is an excuse for extremely poor service. Avoid this place at all costs and we had upgraded to the ‘Superior Room’. Goodness knows what awaited you if you booked the standard room?
