Tamassa Bel Ombre

An excellent resort that definitely exceeded our expectations. The service was outstanding, and the friendly, smiling staff made us feel comfortable and relaxed. The resort offers parking, a beautiful private beach, and two excellent restaurants serving delicious food. There are also many free sports and entertainment options, including table tennis, tennis, billiards, a gym, outdoor games, and more. The rooms are spacious, bright, and air-conditioned.

Some staff members are still in training and do not speak English very well, so a little patience may occasionally be needed. However, we did not consider this a negative, as they were clearly making a genuine effort to assist us. Our only criticism is that, in our opinion, the drink prices are higher than usual.

We enjoyed our stay and the location was perfect, since were only 25 mins far away from Le Morne beach. The room was nice and big. The breakfast was fantastic, with a lot of possibilities for each type of meal preferences. We were also did an upgrade to have served the dinner and was a good ideea, since this gave us the possibility to serve the dinner also on a la carte Restaurant for free. The staff was friendly and always open to help. Overall, was a perfect stay for us and for sure we will choose Tamassa again for a future trip to Mauritius.

The only thing which we did not liked, was that sometimes was a bad smell comeing from the toilet room (it’s important to be always that door closed). One aditional thing of dissatisfaction, was that we had to request to have shower gel, was not at the basis into the room (this was surprised us).

Amazing location, we got a beach house - right in front of the sea, stunning views ! The beach is so pretty , the pools are nice alternative when it’s windy too. Staff was very attentive to customers bdays and especial occasions.

We had food in the room on the day we arrived. They left cutlery and plates in our room for days. Plus - we got to the room one day, and noticed they had forgot a cloth on the table.

Pools were clean- fresh towels and sheets. Burger van was great.

Entertainment was poor. Same entertainment multiple nights in row - went to room after dinner most nights. Cocktails were sickly. Dinner was repetitive. Shop was so expensive! $60 for conditioner and $32 for deodorant! Room was in need of maintenance- broken shower, lose plug sockets, everything was tired. Cats all around the complex- sick and poo on grass. The locals day passes made the resort busy but wasn’t a great atmosphere- people got to drink and inappropriate. One local man was escorted off the premises for being inappropriate to young girls.
