Location

It was filthy, mouldy and crumbling down. Photos are not true. It was so bad we left and paid for more accommodation. This property should not be advertised on booking.com. I have contacted booking.com for a refund with no response

Overall, a lovely villa with amazing pools and a dream location, but with a few areas that could be improved.

The villa is spacious, has a fantastic pool, and is set right on Black Sand Beach, a truly stunning location. Villa 6 even has two pools, which was perfect for the kids. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we really enjoyed the daily breakfast in the kitchen. The chief we arrange was the best part of the trip who did a fantastic meal that 2adults and 2children all enjoyed.

On the downside, the property is a little dated, with some mold on the walls and limescale and mildew in the bathrooms. Privacy could also be better, as staff were often around during the day for gardening, paperwork or cleaning. We also had a small issue when an adapter was accidentally packed, the replacement cost quoted was much higher than the actual price to replace. Eftpos machine all the staff struggled to work I needed to show them how to use. Staff was always ringing “boss” who was very unhelpful as uncontactable. The beach is beautiful to look at, though not really suitable for swimming as the waves are strong and better suited for very experienced surfers.

Great family holiday!

The villas were large with lovely rooms, facilities & outlook. The customer service was beyond expectation—especially the care given to one member of the family who was unwell.

Unfortunately the recent floods had affected our villa but the staff worked tirelessly to repair the problems & we were comfortable the whole time.

Quiet , comfortable and very close to the surf spots. Great for the family.

The property was beautiful, with an amazing pool, plenty of room and bed were comfortable. We stayed with 3 kids and my husband and I. Perfect for my eldest to go surfing and the younger ones to hang by the pool. Very clean quiet place with good aircon, fridge and kitchen facilities. The breakfast was very good also.

Worn and tired house and area.

Pictures are very out of date. After checking Google, images are up to 10 years old. There is no possibility of sun bathing next to the pool, as it is shady from buildings and tall plants/vegatation. There is a sunny balcony on the back, but it is quite worn and the view is not spectacular. Generally, the whole area is very tired, and the beach has lots of litter. Hoever, beach is not ideal for swimming or new surfers anyway. The entrance building seems unfinished and does not look welcoming (1st and 2nd floor - seen from the outside). In-house breakfast making sounds amazing, and the chef is really kind, but he turns up up to 1.5 hours in advance and starts the blender. Would be better to have it just delivered. We complained to the staff about our unmet expectations and they told is to write booking.com. It took booking.com 5 days to respond, and we had 4 nights there in total… so

Very relaxing, comfortable and enjoyable.

We felt looked after, requested late checkout which was granted but expensive. Loved the area. Staff helpful, especially ulandari in time leading up to our stay.

A glass was accidentally broken, we had to pay aud 5.70 as replacement. Not a special item, thought this was excessive. The internet on tv stopped and couldn’t be fixed on last day, no compensation for this though.

Disappointed to save for a holiday and waste our money.

Location is outstanding with direct beach access. We had family issues and had to return early and we were offered a partial refund.

The Villa is so run down it’s deplorable especially for the cost. It rained each night and the roof leaked in the master bedroom. All the timber doors are extremely hard to open and multiple keys for all the doors. Normal TV didn’t work. Fungi growing on the timber internal stairs. Black mould on internal doors and bathroom windows. Beds were average. People from a Wedding party at Komune Resort were staying next door and partying multiple nights until daylight. Hard earned money thrown away on below average accommodation.

Beautiful HUGE villa right on the beach with awesome surf straight out front

Right on the beach and close to other resorts that we had stayed at before, so we knew the area well. Villa was huge, and a short walking distance to everything close by

Due to there not being anywhere to eat onsite, we know to be more organised next time with food, etc, so that we dont need to eat out every single meal. Also need to book in advance chef for dinners, as they were already booked out for the duration of our stay.

Great location and space for the family

The place was great, loved having seperate rooms and ensuites. My partner surfs so mainly stayed here to be close to the beach and out of the crazy tourist spots. The private pool was huge and the landscaping was beautiful, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We mostly just hung out on the beach, the warungs and by the pool but it was close enough to do some touristy things in Ubud we just organised a driver. And the restaurants along the beach were great.

The location and the Villa. It was beautiful

The cook cooked food in our villa for the other rooms, so it woke our kids up. Wasn't happy when we wanted to sleep in so i arranged breakfast later but cook still showed up early to cook breakfast for other villas and delivered to other villas, so we couldn't sleep in. So if you book, just make sure this doesn't happen. But otherwise great place.

The villa was a great size. The pool was very clean and a good size. Breakfast cooked in the villa was great.

The bed was like a rock. Door had fallen off one of the kitchen cupboards and not fixed before our arrival. Nowhere to put soap and shampoo in the shower.

The location exactly what I want, front beach villa and in a quiet area. Anyway it was too expensive for what it is.

Breakfast was very basic and not many choice, was pretty boring menu. Some doors are crappy, broken, could not close properly, leaving big gap / hole. My opinion the villa needs to be renovated / well maintained.

Loved the property, pool and access to beach and local surf spots, was all quite amazing. Nice to see a quiet part of Bali too.

Very sad to see so much rubbish on the beach. Not in front of villa as it seemed to be kept quite tidy but once you got away from villas.
