We are absolutely thrilled to have chosen Tembi Rumah Budaya as our home during our visit to Yogyakarta! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the incredibly warm owners, Anto and Tina, who have poured their hearts into creating this extraordinary village. The charming Indonesian bungalows, crafted from teak and oak, are surrounded by lush Balinese-inspired gardens that create a tranquil oasis. The entire property is immaculately maintained, and the crystal-clear pool water was simply inviting. Our bungalow offered the perfect escape, with an air conditioner that kept the room refreshingly cool both day and night. Fresh towels and great food in the restaurant makes the stay even better! It’s a stay we’ll never forget!

Only problem was the very loud call to prayer from the surrounding mosques. Although beautifully sang still very loud at odd hours of the morning.

I love the food and drink.

I come to this hotel around 4 am morning and all is dark and no one stand by not even the security. The gate and doors are closed and I tried to call phone number at website and no answer. Until 4 times call and no answer at all.
