Royal Savoy Sharm El Sheikh

I was unsure if this would not be a 10, but there were some minor issues that stopped me giving the "perfect" grade. A 9.5 would be the real grade here! The hotel is an interesting local development project, which includes the Royal Sovay mostly co-located with the Savoy, associated with other hotels and the Soho entertainment area. Staying in the hotel is a great choice (consider the all-inclusive options: you can go to the restaurants in Soho), and you can spend one week without leaving the area without feeling bored: from the sea and coral activities, pools and diverse entertainment, to an ice ring and bar, to more than ten different restaurants and pubs.

Their notion of "adults-only" means "above fourteen", which is not our usual understanding. The Royal has a couple of reserved pools for their guests, but the largest ones are shared with the Savoy. In the peak of summer it is really hot, so beware of the heat, which is even felt in many corridors!

The whole property and staff were so kind and welcoming and very helpful. And I would like to specify Mr. Makhlouf for his professional services and assistance.

Everything! The team mostly, very nice and always there to make you comfortable. I wouldn’t have chosen another hotel for our holidays. We had a jacuzzi junior suite which had a great view. We booked half board where drinks were generally included (with the exception of at meal times in the off site restaurants). Calm adult only feel. Close to airport.

The food was average and the decor slightly dated. The outdoor hot tub/jacuzzi was very dirty. Not terrible but wouldn’t choose this hotel again.
