    As an opening: We are a family of 3 (father, mother, and one 11 yo daughter) visiting Shanghai from 8D7N in which 5D4N we have spent our holidays in Riverdale Residence. In the beginning we chose this Residence because of the facilities it offers i.e., kithcen, washing machine (and dryer), refrigerator, and microwave to ease our life in Shanghai and the result: my wife was super happy with the facilities and my daughter was super happy with the bathtub. My wife also happy with the size of the room where we can place 4 medium luggages and 1 cabin luggage. Location: 12 mins to Shanghai Ocean Aquarium. 24 mins to Shanghai Greenhouse Garden. 16 mins to Shanghai Natural History Museum. 19 mins to Shanghai Science and Technology Museum. 7 mins to Xintiandi, and 16 mins to Tianzifang. [All by Didi and not Metro]. The Residence also surrounded by 4 malls i.e., New World Dongtai Li, Infinitus Hui Shopping Center, Xintiandi Style 1 and Style 2. So, no worries about F&B and shopping. Cleanliness: High standard. Concierge Staff: This is my personal view and testimony. I came to Shanghai to buy certain goods/products from taobao. However, I forgot to put the Residence address in complete which making the courier difficult to pinpoint the location. To ensure the location, the courier called me many times. However, I cannot communicate in Chinese. Therefore, I asked help / assitance from the concierge staff and in my view they were very professional, strong willingness to help, super considerate, and have a deep empathy to us as the Residence guest. The concierge can speak both English and Chinese therefore the language barrier was demolished and my packages arrived timely. Super thank you to Riverdale Residence's concierge staffs.

    ​Our stay here was a complete disappointment. Check-in took forever, and we were initially given a room that reeked of smoke, forcing us to ask for a change. The walls are paper-thin—we could hear every sound from the neighbors—and the cleaning crew woke us up at 9:00 AM vacuuming the hallway. With below-average cleanliness and zero redeeming qualities, I can’t find a single reason to recommend this hotel.

    The apartment is spacious but quite old and far from the attractions and metro. Need a good walk 700m to 1km to the nearest facility. Staff was hit and miss.
