Araxá Pousada

Super friendly staff, particularly Juliana, Eduardo and Francisco! We paid for an Upgrade to the Superior Corner suite and it was fantástic, the balcony with unobstructed to the ocean, dunes and Village. Breakfast was delicious and made to Order and Coffee was Excellent. We Enjoyed the House Made Pizza one Night, Which was delivered to our Room - Can Highly recomend it. Pool was a Welcome Relief After a hot day at the Beach!

The street adjacent to the Hotel was Noisy at certain times in the Morning and evening as it is the Meeting Place for drivers and buggies and a Main Traffic thoroughfare.

A localização é muito boa, perto da praia e das ruas principais, mas sem o barulho e agitação, o que foi ótimo para descansar. Equipe atenciosa. O terraço com a Banheira é ótimo. A pizza é maravilhosa.

Pousada parece ser um pouco antiga, precisando de algumas manutenções no quarto. A cama é de cimento e o colchão de espuma, o que não é muito confortável. O chuveiro é elétrico sem muita pressão e não tem box, o que molha um pouco o banheiro. Quando entramos no quarto na primeira vez, havia uma pequena rã em cima da cama (apenas pequenas, de uns 2 cm), peguei e soltei no jardim, mas pedi para trocarem o lençol, o que fizeram no outro dia apenas. O acesso ao terraço é bem perigoso, pois a escada é alta é muito íngreme.

great location, quiet, extremely clean, very friendly staff, great pizza!

All of the beaches, including the one within walking distance ( reason for our trip) were not viable for use and enjoyment. Due to low tides, the beach was transformed into a swamp with decomposing sea material , a putrid smell, mosquitoes and murky puddles thus we could not even reach the ocean for a swim. We paid high rates for a Beachfront property, with no beach. The staff should have been straightforward with guests. I feel it was their obligation to let us know about the low tide situation ( which was already in place when we reserved the room), in which case, we would most definitely have decided to go on another time.
