    A comfy stay. Staff are nice. Food is good. The cat there is cute.

    The room is very comfortable, and the staff are attentive and helpful with every request. The only downside is the view — it was advertised as a mountain view with photos taken from a high floor, but the actual room is at street level, offering little privacy unless the curtains are kept closed.

    Overall an awesome hotel. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and tailored for the tourist / hiker. Private toilets are further equipped with a jacuzzi - which is definitely welcome after long hiking days. Service is absolutely top notch. Staff are polite, friendly, and extremely helpful. They are great problem solvers / situation handlers, and they make everything work so well. They go out of their way to make you comfortable, ask you about your day, figure out how they can help - this includes them helping me with my luggage in the rain, booking tourist buses / taxis, exchanging currency (as a personal favour), fixing welcome drinks / honeymoon drinks, and answering any number of inquiries. Hotel has even arranged for a resident hiking guide (Ignacio), available everyday for consultation - he helps everyone in the bar each evening to plan their hikes for the following day(s). Awesome knowledge of the area, the hikes and trails, and the weather. The only minor issue is that the hotel's location is slightly uphill and accessible only via a gravel road. This is no problem if tourists are driving or are carrying backpacks, but anyone wheeling in a luggage should take note that they should expect to carry the luggage uphill for ~50m to reach the hotel.

    5 stars for the hotel room, facilities and location. 10 stars to the staff, especially Florencia at front desk who has gone out of her way to help us with our hiking activities and top-notch service comparable - if not better - to service in Peninsula, Shangri-la, Aman, Rosewood, etc. Thank you!
