B&B Villa San Marco

Villa San Marco is a short drive from the Valley of the Temples. After you've spent a few hot hours exploring the site it's a calming oasis to come back to! Vincenzo and Salvatore are great communicators and the directions to find the Villa were perfect. It's a lovely relaxed setting and guests are made to feel welcome to wander about the grounds and see the animals. There's a room in the main house which has an honesty bar for guests for beer, wine, water and soft drinks. The terrace in the front has tables and chairs and a swimming pool for guests to use which was such a treat after the heat of the Temples. From the pool you can see the temples and as the sun sets the view just gets better. Two lovely older dogs wander around or nap in the shade, the majestic peacock struts his stuff and the ginger kitty is super friendly. In the farm area there are chickens, geese, ducks, pigs (and piglets!) and a donkey. Sadly we didn't book breakfast as we had too early a start back to Palermo airport but I caught a glimpse of breakfast being laid out and it looked amazing. Vincenzo kindly made us a delicious coffee to get us on our way.

Nothing. I wouldn't change a thing apart from have more than 1 might so that we could enjoy the Villa more.

The location was perfect, the pool with the view on the tempels. The family that runs the B&B was lovely, you feel the love in everything. We had an amazing breakfast, joined the dinner which was also nice and we had a wonderful chat the morning of our check out.

Amazingly beautiful property! The gardens, the animals, the views were lovely, I didn’t want to go and see anything else 😁 The room was large and comfortable. The view of the temples was great, especially at night when they were lit. The grounds of the property are extensive, full of flowers and trees, with cats and dogs and peacocks and lizards and other farm animals in their enclosures. The owners served delicious breakfasts and dinners and they were very kind and thoughtfull.

I liked the rustic vibe of the property.

The rooms were a bit dirty, the pool water was green and over all, the garden area was quite messy and dirty. The house had a lot of dust.
