    I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Brighton City Osaka Kitahama and would definitely stay here again. Compared with other hotels I stayed at, the value for money was excellent. The hotel is very centrally located in Osaka, and the nearest metro entrance is only about a four-minute walk away. There is also a 7-Eleven directly across the street, which was very convenient. My room was spacious for one person and had everything I needed. It was also very quiet, and I had no problems sleeping. The hotel was able to accommodate my requests for a room on a higher floor and as far away from the elevators as possible, which I really appreciated. Housekeeping was very reliable. My room was cleaned every day, even on days when I did not leave until around 2 PM, and used amenities were consistently replaced. Of course, no cleaning can ever be absolutely perfect and occasionally a small detail may be missed, but overall the cleanliness was excellent. The staff were friendly, and both check-in and check-out were easy to complete in English. The hotel also offers free luggage storage before check-in and after check-out, which was very useful. The facilities were very good overall. The room has a refrigerator, a heated toilet with automatic flushing, and a surprisingly large safe built into a drawer. There are also self-service laundromats on three floors, and the machines are very easy to use. Drinking water bottles are available in the lobby, and I also liked having a "Do Not Disturb" button directly on the bedside control panel. There are only two minor things I would improve. The hotel does not offer a laundry service, only self-service machines. Also, the drawer containing the safe is located above the refrigerator and can sometimes catch the refrigerator door when being pulled out, which makes opening the safe slightly awkward. These are only small inconveniences, though. Overall, I was very satisfied with the room, service, location, and value for money, and I would happily stay here again on my next visit to Osaka.

    Reception whom checked me in was absolute courteous and helpful as I had asked him about nearby eateries that were still open after 11pm. The room was spotlessly clean and the toilet amenities came in wide varieties which were rare nowadays in Japan. The room was well maintained and all the furnitures were in good shape. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was faultless. I did not subscribe breakfast so no comment on food and beverage. The room is equipped with coffee machine. I had no hesitation to stay at Brighton City Hotel if I happen to visit Osaka in the future.
