Hotel Gran Sol

Had a one night stay here as we wanted to re-visit Cabana d'en Geli, an excellent restaurant located approx 15 minutes stroll from the Gran Sol. Pleasantly surprised as the service levels & facilities at the Gran Sol which are excellent; Swimming pool is safe & good for swimming as it has a decent deep side that keeps the children out of the way! Hotel has x3 restaurant's - we utilised menu del dia in the main restaurant which was excellent. We also had breakfast in the more informal restaurant. Good thing here is you pick what you want & pay which keeps the price sensible. Staff were friendly, helpful & polite. English spoken if necessary. Car parking off road both covered & uncovered, safe & well lit. Overall excellent value for money & would stay again.

Nothing springs to mind

We went to Solsona for a wedding, and the stay was great! The balcony and the view were the favourite part of it. Check out time at 12 was also a blast!

Noise from other guests on the corridors. Room lights were not very strong.

Good hotel and good restaurant. Clean.

No fridge in the room, bathrooms are dated Pool was not clean

room was used and not properly cleaned. breakfast was not available at the promised time.
