Great 3 night stay!

Great location, near the main strip of restaurants and opposite a supermarket and very close to the beach. Friendly staff on check-in who showed us to our room and made us feel welcome and at home. The pool was great to relax and swim. Breakfast had lots of options which was great. Helpful to have a hostel kitchen where we could cook, which we did one night. Good air-con in the room to keep it cool in a very hot week!

The pool had some floating plastic in it, especially from the bar's plastic straw covers.

Exceptional

This hostel is HUGE. They have a great pool, they serve amazing coffee and breakfast, the location is amazing with a big supermarket right in front, and the staff is amazing! Highly recommended!

One of the receptionists was cool

It wasn't quiet at all. In the first room couldn't open the window. One of the staff members was not telling the truth regarding no other rooms available when the music from the dance school below prevented sleeping at 22:00. Only after I asked to get the money back and leave he agreed to give another room. The first day when I arrived they had an overbooking and I had to move to another hotel and paid more for it.

I like the pool

I didn’t like because the room was with a bit mold that was bad for my asthma, also they don’t clean the room , we stated there 6 days the room been cleaned once and because we asked and they just change the bed and the towels, the cleaner didn’t clean the toilet out the floor , was disgusting smelled mold the room and damp.

The trademark SELINA they had like polítics, that their clean services was every 3 days. This is a great problem by the way. The room 122 in the check-in time, has a vomitive smells, and this situation has ocurred everyday. Dont have enough services workers.

the place is cute, location is great, the music playing at the pool and reception was very nicely curated

I booked the standard room with shared bathroom (what Selina calls the micro room) and the photos of the bathroom on booking.com didn’t correspond to the actual shared bathroom and this was misleading and disappointing. the shared bathroom wasn’t clean most of the time and most times there wasn’t hot water in the showers. in general, the cleanliness of this hotel is poor: sunbeds and seating around the pool isnt cleaned or sanitized, duvet in the bedroom was without cover and did not look properly clean, same thing for the bath towels. other guests are loud and leave clothes and towels everywhere in common areas near the bedrooms so overall it’s a mess. window in the room didn’t open and there wasn’t a desk with chair in the bedroom.

Overrated, this hotel is a joke !

The room was spacious

A place without service and without generosity. In the room it’s written that they change the bedding every 3 days to protect the planet, I’m totally fine with that, what they don’t mention it’s that they don’t clean nor change the trash everyday ! If you complain they come every day to clean but the room is only made from 4 or 5 pm.. I waited up to 35 minutes in the morning to a have my coffee, a unsmiling waiter didn’t want to give me what was on the menu because it was not the combo breakfast they serve the most. Moreover our massage was unscheduled, the cheesy same music they play is way too loud, most of the front desk people don’t know how to smile, you are forced to download their app and you must fill yourself your check-in data. In short, this place is pretentious and overrated. I’m a frequent traveler and I have stopped writing comments on Booking but I’m so disappointed that this so bad experience deserved a word.. I will never visit à Selina again

Great for friends visiting Búzios.

The hotel is great, and the location is perfect, close to a very touristic street with lots of restaurants and bars. The Orla Bardot is within walking distance.

The bed was quite small, and the locker right above it, I have hit it several times while sleeping.

Overpriced in general. They have a pool but don’t offer pool towels. When asked, the staff suggested we use our room towels for the pool. No phone in the room so if you need to talk to the front desk you have to go there physically.

Ótima opção em búzios

Localização excelente ao lado da rua das pedras mas sem a muvuca toda. A área da piscina, estrutura externa e bar são ótimas. Funcionários me atenderam muito bem. Eu adorei o café da manhã, opções variadas e bem feitas. O quarto que fiquei amplo e confortável, inclusive o banheiro, chuveiro e roupa de cama.

Dois pontos negativos, que apesar de não estragar a estadia, fez falta: - em três dias não tivemos o quarto arrumado. Saímos de manhã e voltávamos por volta das 15h, 16h e acredito que por ser o último do corredor ainda não tinham chegado no quarto. Mas acho q deveriam repensar isso de alguma forma. - Internet no quarto não pegava. E como a TV funcionava só pela internet, era como se não tivesse tv.
