Splash Beach Resort Phuket, Family-Friendly Beachfront Resort

We had a great stay in Phuket. The staff were so kind, helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. It was very hot while we were there and they were always offering us cold water, which was such a thoughtful touch and really appreciated. Overall, everything was lovely and we felt very well looked after.

Nothing — we had a wonderful experience and couldn’t fault the stay.

Beach was not a good option for swimming

This place was amazing! From start to finish so attentive, I had a huge issue with safety on one trip (absolutely nothing to do with the hotel) but as a solo traveller it really knocked me and the staff in reception just rallied around me, made sure I felt safe and happy and got me to the restaurant for dinner. Can’t thank them enough! Great room great facilities loved my stay here!

We stayed here because we had an early morning flight out of Phuket and the location was convenient. It was easy to get to the airport and you could see the plane taking off. Check in was easy and we were able to get into our room a few minutes early which was great. The extra bed we requested was already there too. The waterpark is included in the cost of the stay and you can come and go as you like. There were enough slides, pools and spray areas to keep the kids entertained for the day. Just outside the resort there were a number of spas and restaurants which had good food, service and better value for money than in the resort.

Many of the staff, while all lovely, seemed to be new to the job. Service at the beachside restaurant in particular was slow, meals were missed and the bills were wrong. It was sorted by a manager eventually but things took a lot of time. Waterpark staff were also very nice, however, didn’t really offer information unless you asked and it wasn’t particularly straightforward or obvious. For example, we entered the park and no one told us we need a wrist band to pay for absolutely everything. Once we worked it out it was easy though. You also aren’t allowed to bring your own towels or water into the park, even the plastic water bottles you get in the hotel room are not allowed. You have to pay for water in the waterpark and renting towels is also an extra charge. We had issues with our room when we checked in. The safe didn’t work and the bathtub ran a very dark brown. They did send an engineer to sort this out when we called and they sorted it out.
