Very nice hotel in a historical building

The place is located in the old town, in an amazing historical building. The room was nice and clean, and we liked the classy furniture. The breakfast was nice, you can have it in the garden, with an amazing view of the city. The staff was nice, they even have a small car, so you dont need to carry your luggage from the parking lot. It was our third stay here in the last 15+ years. Its is higly recommended.

Gorgeous location, apartment very spacious with good aircon, views are amazing, pool perfect, staff very helpful especially helping with our bags on the buggy from the car park, thank you! Old town part of Ulcinj and hotel is so pretty.

This was out of the hotels control but our room was above a bar with the loudest clubbing music I’ve ever heard through closed windows (and I like a good club now and then!) . I cannot fault the hotel on this but it does significantly impact sleep with a young family until 1am. Be aware of this when booking. The only recommendation I would have is for the hotel to put some sound proof up to date double glazed windows on the side of that apartment.

Would not come back

The place is very beautiful located in the old town. We had the duplex suite which was very comfortable. There are nice restaurants around and you can drive to very nice beaches further south.

There are several points that I disliked. First the hotel listing states that they offer parking which is a lie. You have to park on the street or in a paid lot that costs 15 euros for 24h. Second the breakfast was very poor for a 4 star hotel. The coffee was not drinkable. Third, a wedding was organized in the hotel and the photo shoot happened on our doorstep. It prevented us to go in and out of our room as we wished. It was not comfortable. The reception did not inform us of that ahead. I had to ask for information. Finally, it's not the hotel fault but the loud music from the clubs are really spoiling the whole 4-star experience.

Great spot for a few days.

The views were fantastic. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location was fabulous. Surrounded by good restaurants. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. A little more shade in the pool area would be helpful. The umbrella above our sun beds was broken.

Beautiful hotel with beautiful views

The property was absolutely stunning. The hotel was very clean and the views were unbeatable. The staff was incredible. I can’t recommend this property enough. We weren’t sure about traveling to Ulcinj, but we are so glad we did. When we come back, we will certainly be returning to Hotel Palata Venezia

Beautiful and spacious appartment in an interesting hotel. Great view over the bay. Excellent staff

The appartment was beautiful, spacious and very quiet. We loved the balcony overlooking the bay. We also loved being next to the restaurant for breakfast and afternoon drinks. There was a great bathroom upstairs and a useful downstairs loo. The living room and kitchen were very comfortable. All of the staff were excellent particularly the lady who came to clean our room - she did a great job.

Long walk from the car park but it was free so can’t really complain!

A shame such a lovely property is going to waste.

The greeting was very well-coming and the hotel is in a great location.

We stayed in room directly opposite the kitchen extraction vent and it made a racket. Had to complain to make it stop but ultimately interrupted our much needed sleep. The lady that checked is in at 2pm was awesome, the one on the pm shift was rude and more interested in what was going on with her phone than the guests.

Exceptionally good hotel, beware of noise

Palata Venezia an exceptional hotel with beautiful surroundings, kind and helpful staff and great location in the Ulcinj old town. Our suite was large and well cleaned. Breakfast was also very good. Only 10 minute walk to the beach.

Beach street (Mala Plaza) is noisy from 9pm to 1am and the noise from the bars also reaches rooms of Hotel Palata Venezia. While the hotel itself is excellent, it cannot be fully recommended for people valuing good night's sleep.

Perfect location, amazing view to Mala Plaza. Nice staff. The eggs at breakfast were great.

We booked a suite but got upgraded to an apartment instead. For an apartment it would have been nice with a bit more kitchen equipment, like more than 2 plates, a dish towel or a frying pan. After asking for a dish towel they gave us one though. The restaurant did not have a lot of options and on an early evening was out of most items (all national dishes) and they refused to serve my tomatoes fried or baked (necessary due to allergies, I would've paid extra). That way I couldn't eat a lot.

the location was great!

the gym was poor and machine not working, the rooms were very cold, and the breakfast was poor. The reason I choose this place was because of the gym and breakfast, both of them were a disappointment and that’s why the low score.

amazing location, beautiful hotel

great location right in the old town, they came to pick us up from the parking lot with a little electric golf cart and drove us to the hotel through the tiny alleys of the old town - such a fun experience, the kids loved it! Hotel looks great, staff is very friendly, the room was very big and had a very nice view of the bay.

the bathroom is a bit small compared to the overall size of the apartment and breakfast could be a bit better, but we were there in the low season

Hotel is an amazing and imposing building located in amazing location, in center of Old town. Hotel is overlooking on sea as well and wide and spacious Restaurant terrace. Room was very comfortable and clean. Staff very friendly, multilingual and ready to assist. I will come back for sure. I recommend hotel Palata Venezia to everyone who comes in Ulcinj.

Wonderful!

All was terrific! The location and incredible view from our room, opening the shutters in the morning to the sea, listening to a couple of storms at night. Sitting on the terrace soaking up the atmosphere. Our room was beautifully furnished in keeping with the age of the building. Very helpful staff & all areas were super clean. Small pleasant pool and spa area (we didn't use the latter). Golf cart transport for luggage from car park below.

Louds coming thrue the hotel from surrounding clubs. My friend informed me that he was tired and couldn't sleep until 01.00am in the night time because of high volume music around. Then he tried to sleep after calm down and he couldn't sleep at all so as to losing sleep.

Location to die for

Amazing location in the old town. Lots of good restaurants nearby including the hotels own.

the staff were amazing - Maya in particular. absolutely made the stay. a lovely spot, lots of facilities, very helpful and friendly. a lovely service to take your bags, and just generally going out of their way to help. restaurant was actually so good we ate their twice.
