Park Hyatt Mendoza Hotel, Casino & Spa

I think the location was the best feature. The room was also big. Staff were all nice. The concierge was very helpful with reservations to the vineyards. They also arranged a private car with driver for me. I thought the casino in the hotel would bother me but it was located in the back so it didn't affect the overall environment in the lobby.

It is high time to renovate the rooms. It isn't bad but for the price I would expect an updated room.

It was nice to enjoy the amenities and atmosphere of a hotel with such a longstanding reputation and polished feel. Our room and bathroom were exceptionally spacious, with a very comfortable layout and plenty of room to relax after long days out enjoying the wineries and city. The staff throughout the hotel were impeccably presented, attentive, welcoming and consistently polite. Every interaction felt genuinely warm and professional, and they were always happy to help with recommendations or requests. One particularly worthwhile feature is the wine shop within the hotel — the discounts available made it excellent value, and it’s well worth purchasing wines there before leaving Mendoza.

The only downside during our stay was that the walls between rooms seemed quite thin. We could clearly hear conversations, televisions, running water and even snoring from the neighbouring room, which unfortunately affected the sense of privacy and quiet at times.

Room: the bathroom set up is not very convenient: keeping the hangers and part of the 'wardrobe' in the bathroom wasn't very practical, but one can survive with that. However, what was terrible was the Shower - the drain flooded completely; the water doesn't drain because the surface was constructed in a way that the water fill spill out of the shower box, and not get drained. I had to ask for a floor squeegee (escobilla de goma), so that we could not flood the entire bathroom. It was ridiculous. You reserve a Park Hyatt to have a certain degree of comfort. Having to do that for all the times we used the shower was outrageous.
