Alt fungerede over forventning. Gl. Avernæs ligger smukt ud til vandet og med en dejlig stor have omkring. Pga udskiftning af låse i de værelser vi havde bestilt blev vi opgraderet til nogen af de bedste værelser hotellet kan tilbyde. Uden merberegning, selvfølgelig. Det var lækkert. Vi havde et kort opholdt men nød hvert minut. Vi spiste både aftensmad og morgenmad under opholdet. Og vi har før boet på Gl. Avernæs og kommer helt sikkert igen.

It a very nice hotel in the middel of nowhere, perfect for corporate events, team building or weddings. It has an amazing garden and beautiful view to the see. Breakfast is simple but tasty. And there is plenty of space for parking.
For some rooms you need to go out of the main building, so depending of the weather conditions it can be a bit muddy. Rooms are comfortable but very basic and nothing facy, remind me of my university dormitory. There are some facilities that are not open such as bar and billard, but they are closed for the guests, only for specific events or seasons.
